I came with my family this time before Christmas. So many people but the food always taste so good. I love spicy food, and my favorite is the Tofu Bean Curd, so special and flavorful.

It was my first time at Royal Highness Zhu, and WOW!! The Dan Dan Noodles was insane! Soo good! This place is always so busy, so parking was a bit tricky, but i will definitely come back!

Most authentic Chinese food outside of Chinatown. My go to spot to endure Chicago winters!

We were disappointed in the food. Not only are most dishes very spicy, but you barely get any meat (chicken or beef) in dishes with meat in the name. And, the beef in beef with vegetables was nearly all fatty tissue. Not appealing. Also there are very few chicken dish offerings. The restaurant seems clean and new which is nice but the food was not for us.

The food was amazing value, great portions, and incredibly fast service. Everything was delicious and my friends and I always make this a stop on our itinerary when we travel to Chicago.
(I hope we did not wear out the chefs too much. we thought that menu option was really funny)

All the dishes taste pretty good. Costed ~60$ for three people. Personal favorite was hotpot Sichuan taste one. Love the vibe and how the place is clean, artistically decorated. And they gave a dessert the red bean filling one!

My coworker and I visited this place after work last Tuesday. We waited a bit long, but the food tastes SO good and comforting. I am not someone who can handle spice the best, but they also have many non-spicy choices, like Traditional Pigs Foot Broth – so good!!

The Signature Spicy Beef Noodles were a standout—so rich and satisfying! I enjoyed the unique flavors, but the tables were a bit too close together, making it hard to have a private conversation.

This place surprised me! My favorite dishes are their desserts, especially the Glutinous Rice Cakes. Although the table is a bit small since we ordered a bunch, the food tastes AMAZING! I will for sure bring more of my friends here next time!

I was really looking forward to trying Royal Highness Zhu. I will say that the food was alright. It seemed like some of the dishes like the vegetable hot pot was not cooked all the way through and the sizzle sausage fried rice did not have any sausage in it. That is really disappointing. I will say the best dish I had was the zhong dumplings. The taste was really on point. I did make a reservation and the male server/ host was really rude and did not accept my reservation. That same male server told me that he was too busy too for a few requests we had. I am not sure if it was me but, he just seemed very rude. I will say the ambiance or atmosphere was really nice. I will say give royal highness zhu a chance and for sure ask someone how to order as the menu system was kind of strange to me.
