Love Royal Thai! Been ordering here for nearly six years and the quality is consistent. The green curry and the Kow Soy soup are delicious! Highly recommend this local spot.

The food took forever to arrive — way longer than what should be acceptable. When I tried to ask about the delay, the owner had a horrible attitude and was extremely disrespectful. Definitely one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I will not be coming back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
good food, good prices, folks who work there are friendly. my go-to neighborhood thai place
Excellent pad thai and maybe the best panang in the coty
Delish food

This place *used* to be the best of the best. Now the ownership has lost all passion for food. Old ingredients, poor flavor, terrible decor. Like a truly mind-boggling change from the highlight on Montrose to effigy of a restaurant today. When there's Thai on every corner, I recommend every other restaurant than this waste of time, space, and calories.

I have been here many times and with all of the Thai food options in this neighborhood and the surrounding area, this place is the best. The food is fresh, hot, and incredibly flavorful with standard options and more regionally unique options as well. Highly recommend.

We ordered takeout to eat up the street at Hop Butcher—and we wound up being very pleased with the food! Our order was finished right on time and packed with care. We only asked for chopsticks and napkins no (to avoid plastic forks, etc), and they were included accordingly. The veggies were fresh and we appreciated that they had some different offering from the usual Thai places.

Truly a mystery as to why this place isn’t at 100% capacity all the time. Great restaurants like this are dying in Chicago!
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and an informal environment.

Haven't dined in since before the pandemic, but get takeout all the time. Pad thai is really tasty and the portion is pretty big. Their tom kha is our favorite!
So yummy! I’ve been to a hundred different Thai places and this place may be the best I’ve had. The pad Thai has plenty of sauce, little pieces of tofu, and the addition of white and red cabbage add the perfect textural balance and make the dish visually appealing. I also loved the sesame chicken that had little pieces of red pepper and orange sauce along with crispy chicken pieces. I think I have found my new favorite go-to for Thai!

Just alrightNothing to write home about. The food I received was I credibly bland and lackluster.
Vegetarian options: I got the pad si-ew and you could customize it multiple ways with what's inside but it was very bland and had no flavor at all

Food is great, but order takeout. The dine-in experience is very bad.
