We were here on a Saturday night (Sept 20th 2025), we had both the spicy miso and spicy tonkotsu. Both extremely flavorful and delicious. Really solid classic tonkotsu, one of the best I’ve had. The service was truly incredible along with the various drinks we had. I couldn’t be more pleased and I recommend anyone that likes ramen to come here! :)

Fantastic and friendly staff. Ramen was great too. Highly recommend stopping by this spot if you're craving Ramen and japanese appetizers. They also have japanese imported craft beer which I really appreciated 👏

Everything about our experience was delightful! The Tatanmen taken was truly the highlight of the meal. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the broth was so flavorful with the perfect heat. They’re so generous with the toppings as well, especially the protein, because I found the ratio of every bite to have the right amount of both protein and noodles. We also got the habanero chicken bao and soy caramel pork belly bao. The dough was soft, and the small bites packed big flavor. Don’t forget to try a cocktail too because it was the nicest pairing with the savory meal.
You can really tell that Rudy’s Ramen makes and serves their food with care. The staff was also friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. The restaurant is a great ambiance for any kind of meet up, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit!

Just had an amazing dinner at Rudy's! We tried the pork bun, the regular tonkotsu, the spicy one (spicy, without thr spice being overpowering), and the low sodium one (lighter in flavor, but really good if you want something more summery in flavor). The broth may be the best we have had in Chicago. We will definitely be back.
