Impressive broth with chewy ramen noodles make a very good dish. The server missed an item upon ordering and never followed up. A table for two with only one appetizer and one entree would be a giveaway that something is missing, but he never noticed. Despite enjoying what were on the table, the meal ended early.

The food is delicious! I had the vegetarian ramen and my husband had the spicy miso. The broth was warm, the noodles had flavor, and the veggies were fresh, and the ramen was actually spicy. We also ordered these tofu bun and the pork belly bun. The dough was soft and I stuffed with flavors. My husband said the meat was tender with rich flavor. Shoutout to our server Austin for providing exceptional service! My husband and I received friendly and patient service. I didn’t get their name, but another staff member saw me drop my chopsticks and brought me a new clean pair right away. I enjoyed the instrumental music with low light setting, it makes the environment warm and cozy during this time of the season. For it being our first time we look forward to coming back more often!

The noodles are fantastic
The rest of the bowl is not... the pork is very fatty and misses the mark entirely for the actual flavor or texture...
The worst offense is the broth or rather lack of
Ramen is great because of the Noodles sure... but I want to slurp noodles in a soup
This restaurant serves Noodles with a side of Broth
If you like dipping noodles, great spot if you go in person... maybe if you ask a few times

Ramen was fine. Little bland, and pork belly might have been 100% fat. Not a bad experience but nothing to write home about

Forgot items from our table's order, we had to flag someone down when we wanted anything (including every water refil). I give it 3 stars for food because others liked their food alright, but I found everything to be a bit salty and of 1 flavor to the point I left hungry instead of finishing.

Arthur woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. My party has never had authentic Ramen before and took the time to travel an hour and a half through a raging winter storm to visit Rudy’s only to be greeted by a cold bitter welcome and mostly average food. We now have to convince them that not all ramen shops in Chicago are like this. To management, do better snow or shine.

Ordered take out. The place charges $20 for a ramen and they have the audacity to provide it without a broth.
Tried contacting them right away but no one answered so either they are not interested in serving or just don’t care.
Not an experience that I would expect from Chicago restaurant
There are many better Ramen places around , definitely not ordering from here again!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Rudy’s! We were sat down immediately and received wonderful service. We tried the Sake flight and enjoyed every flavor that they had! The food was incredible and we had the pleasure to speak to Rudy himself. It was obvious that he cares a lot about the quality of his food and restaurant. We will definitely be back and tell all of our friends about this place.

Okay broth and noodles (I prefer thick over thin). The meat is chewy. Really didn’t like the bao buns. Not even in the top 10 of Chicago ramen spots imo.
I accept if I’m the one that messed up, entering an hour before they closed, but the last 40 minutes was loud with staff cleaning and dragging chairs on the floor. Music was blaring from just a few speakers (unpleasant to say the least). Lights were way too bright which added to the unpleasant atmosphere.
Rudy’s ramen broke me, I can no longer have average ramen. I have tried a few ramen places in the suburbs around Chicago along with the Chicagoland area definitely tried two of the bigger names most people have heard of in the ramen scene. By far Rudy’s is the best, the broth is so flavorful which I believe other ramens I have tried lack. The broth is not thick it is more of a soup base and the noodles are the perfect texture. The spicy tonkotsu and regular tonkotsu are my favorites, I have also had their pork belly and mango habanero chicken buns are amazing as well. I always recommend people to eat here and drive the 30 to 50 minutes due to traffic just to get Rudy’s when I crave ramen.
Rudy as well has always been an excellent host and even remembers us along with the rest of the staff. They are all so welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and what they are serving. I also recommend sunrise ginger cocktail if you are into drinks.Try it wont regret it.

My friend recommended Rudy's to me, and I'm so glad I tried it. I had the Spicy Miso and the broth and noodles were so tasty! My drink was well made too! My friend liked her ramen as well. Shout out to our server Matthew who took care of us too!
