We were a party of 6 people, tried the black croquettes, corn Madeleine, the vegetables , the fried chicken and the salt. Everything was delicious. Cocktails were very good too. The service was a bit long but at the same time, it is pleasant to not be rushed in a restaurant and to have time to eat your plates without anyone asking you every 5 min if you were done.I will definitely be back

The passion fruit sorbet tasted like my childhood growing up in Rio. One of the most flavorful things I’ve ever eaten in my life.

First and foremost, this was definitely a great dinner. Started off with two mezcal old fashions of their cocktail menu. I ordered a bit of everything ; dishes I wanted to try but also dishes I’ve heard so much about.Started with the marinated cucumbers that I’ve heard so much about, I’ll definitely skip next time. Nothing exciting they weren’t out of this world. We followed with The dry aged steak tartare which I was definitely obsessed with!! So well executed and the flavor profile was just so spot on.Hamachi sashimi was a dish I’ve heard the whole town talk about and definitely understood why. My god The hamachi was so fresh, flavorful & texturized. Could see why this was a staple.Warm mushroom salad was recommended by our server but I wasn’t a fan. Way too acidic, however, my partner loved it so that’s a plus. Corn bread Madeline’s were so good! Also the Maine lobster dumplings were absolutely delicious really enjoyed the jade butter and herbs they were plated with. Entrees I obviously had to try their “S.K.Y. Fried chicken which was so delicious!!! The chicken was so moist and the fermented habanero butter was insane!!!We ordered the pork chop the was also recommended by the server, definitely not my fav. I actually thought it was too dry too heavy on the black garlic. Side of potatoes that came with it were good.Desserts we had the banana budino and the old fashion cruller which were a great pair together.I actually can’t wait to come back and try other dishes I didn’t make it too. Also I didn’t appreciate taking my full order because I knew my order wouldn’t be properly coursed out and was so right. Had the first 5 dishes come out in 20minute time frame. So overwhelming.Definitely surprised of the area it’s in- pilsen. This restaurant kinda reminds me of Roister in the westloop- similar style.

I did not know what to expect of S.K.Y, but I am absolutely blown away by our dinner here this evening. Even when we walked in to get seated we were greeted by such a kind host. Our waitress Angelica was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable, answering every question we had remarkably well. I decided to get the Tasting Menu and my family ordered a la carte, and this was the best decision we made. This food was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. From the small plates to dessert, we were in a food haven. The bone marrow was full of flavor, the croquettes were warm and oozing cheese, and the octopus that came with the tasting menu, as well as the fried chicken (which was sooooo tender) were AMAZING! And the banana budino too… wow. The atmosphere was perfect for a nice evening out. The lighting wasn’t too harsh, and the music volume was just right. We will definitely be recommending everyone we know to come here!

This is an American restaurant where you order many small shareable plates. As a pair, we ordered 3 appetizers, 1 entree, 1 vegetable, and 1 dessert and it was a good amount of food. I suggest the cornbread Madeleines and the chicken. The banana pudding dessert was also very good. Service was great and quick. Price without drinks came to about 80 bucks a person.

The food is more Asian fusion. Love the wide range of variety you can choose and the price point is not that high. They also allow you have one tasting menu and order something else, which gives us even more opportunity to try new dishes.Parking: Needs a little bit of walk

So this place was phenominal. Top tier service from all the waitstaff (they all work together to bring you the best service possible) I got my wife the chef's tasting menu, and it did not disappoint. Very unique dishes on the full spectrum of your taste buds keeping you on the edge of your seat. I am plain jane, so i got the chicken with creamed corn, which was nicely cooked and had good seasoning. Pictures will show what each course was and my awesome chicken. Also, their cocktails are pretty good as well. 13/10 would recommend.

S.K.Y. offers an elegant industrial-style setting, making our 10 am brunch a visually pleasing experience. Despite a minor delay in food service, the Black truffle croquettes and Maine lobster dumplings were a tasty delight. The new addition of spicy Beef noodles impressed, and the brunch pastry tier, with a pleasant setting, provided a satisfying variety. A memorable culinary adventure despite the initial cleanup at the first table.Parking: Paid street parking, free on Sundays
