I placed an order on S2 website and paid for the food on the website. I went to pick up the food, gave them my name and was told my order will be ready in 2 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes I was given someone else order. I told the manager that wasn't my order and showed her my online order. She then asked if I used chow now on their site. I replied yes. She then called the company to confirm the order. I showed her where the money was taken from my bank account. She told me that they don't use the website to place orders because they don't have the equipment for it. So basically I left without food that I paid for on their website and after waiting for over 30 minutes. I ordered food for my family and went home emptied handed. They took the money from me and did not attempt to help with the problem. I was told that I could place another order on Uber eats and wait for it or give then the order there but that I would not receive the special I would have gotten from ordering on line. The manager said that this keeps happening but did nothing to rectify the problem. I tasted one of my friends food and wanted the same thing but I will never order from them again. Total waste of time and money. Still waiting for my refund which She made sure to tell me that it wasn't coming from them. Nothing was offered for my inconvenience and the manager didn't care. Won't go back there and have nothing good to say about the restaurant.

All restaurants is not the same. This one is very horrible. food is definitely frozen not fresh the shrimp taste like they are very old and very slimy and it is definitely not worth the money! This location is not all that.

One first minus reason is having to order takeout by placing a card over the phone. With all the hacking happening, this was a bit suspect. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, which unnecessarily came with fries. Don't get me wrong, the fries were delicious, like Checkers seasoned fries, but no need for them. I would like the price to be dropped to 12.99 without fries. I paid almost $17 for three egg rolls and fries. This is too high a price. Philly steak egg rolls were good, came with mild sauce, which was not a good pairing. Glad I asked for ranch on the side. Blue cheese would have been better as a dipping sauce. Overall it was a good eating experience but too high cost-wise. Remove fries and lower cost of rolls by themselves.

I read all the reviews and couldnt wait to try. To my disappointment, the fries were not fresh and cold. I love me some fries so you know I was heated. My sandwich was good but I won't be back

i went because it's a few doors from my barber. I spent $34 on two chicken dinners I asked fries to be substituted for the rice & beans. Only one order had fries. The chicken was not seasoned and very dry. I waited a good 10 minute. The chicken needs to be seasoned and grilled Not satisfied at all with this meal.

I had my daughter come in and order me some Loaded fries & I paid the additional $1 for the fresh cut fries. Here’s my issue the fries lacked any flavor and were not fully cooked and the cheddar cheese sauce well at least that’s what it taste like to me was a tad bit on the loose side and it really didn’t have much flavor either honestly.I will say that my food was still hot when I received it and the bacon pieces had a really nice flavor but the ratio to fries vs bacon bits, and green onions could have been better overall the loaded fries were decent. Not too much of a wow factor. In my opinion this appetizer is definitely not worth $9 plus tax but I get it this is a business & the point is to make money.But quality and consistency is importantas well. This is my Second time trying food from here and not really being pleased with my food. P.S I attempted to call but no one answered.

Placed a catering order from the 103rd St location. LOTS of food... good flavor on most of the food, but temp needs work... salmon was cooked to the point it was fully dry... same with the fried chicken... green beans and catfish were ? Mashed potatoes didn't come with gravy and yams were very good...

The service here is slow. My food came out 25 minutes before the rest of the table. The manager is taking orders and couldn’t confirm if the right burger was ordered as my brother had a beef burger and the server said turkey burger. It took about 25 minutes just to pay the bill in which I had to go upfront for my change. The food was amazing. If you try this place, do it during the week.

I have eaten at every S2 location and can unequivocally state that the food is outstanding and incredibly consistent across locations. I have done many group events in the private dining room at one location, and before hours private breakfasts at the Stony Island location. The owners--Sue & Andre Williams--are delightful and accommodating people who will always go the extra mile for their customers. Finally, they have catered numerous events for several friends and organizations upon my recommendation with universal high praise and satisfaction. I highly recommend S2 for your takeout, dining or catering pleasure!

I think they hire they staff off of good times .I mean presentation is everything .the cashier is over charging customers one day the price is different for the same meal and she is very rude talking on her cellphone while taking my order .when I first start coming here everything was nice .I knew once they start making money I would be treated differently
