So I went here awhile back and let me tell you something. The experience was horrible. I guess its a family business but none of them know how to run a restaurant. I asked for a order of biryani for me and my girlfriend. The plate that came out was shocking. It was so small that I think that fat server must have ate half of it, and that fat piece of lard had the audacity to tell it can serve 2 people. We also had chicken and I swear there was a bite taken out of it by that person. I know you might think im exaggerating but they were rude the whole time. The owner Saalar is the worst and saying that his food is really the best which..... its not. This whole experience was a while ago and I don't recomend coming here.
They have great customer service and great food. Definitely recommend
Do not go here Saalar (goes by Sam) the owner is not an honorable person. he purchased a new stove from my company on 6/26/2019 paid on his credit card shipped to his restaurant. HE CLAIMED fraud on credit card and not received but admitted he received stove and was using it promised to pay me many times, promises he is honorable man and will pay. but after 75 days he has not paid even $1. and now has blocked all the calls from our phones and refuses to talk to us. this is the actions of a very dishonest person.
Delicious authentic Indian food at good prices. Sam, the owner, provided excellent service and was very gracious to us. It is a new restaurant so he very attentive to customer needs and wants. Recommended to everyone
Delicious food with great service. It's been long I never had food like this. Family owned businesses are the best and I believe we should support them. Good quality with a reasonable price or I should not even talk about price. That would be insulting. I would pay anything for Salar meal. My family loved it.
Disappointed with the service, food and hygiene. Ordered vegetable rolls and samosa. When asked for menu, he gave an incomplete photo copy and later handed a handwritten list. The air ducts were dripping water on the tables. Only one man was managing everything: reception, cooking and waiting. It took him long time to get the food which anyway was cold inside. The samosas had lots of chilly flakes infused, which isn't the Indian way at all. There is a difference between spicy and lots of chilly!
Their "Postmates machine wasn't working" and mine, along with at least 2 other orders were cancelled because of that. There's no such thing as a "Postmates machine", any competent owner would be able to retrieve business from any internet connected device. Plenty of other Mexican and Indian options exist to not wait hungry for 45 mins and have your order cancelled for some amateur reason.
Tried to order tacos for carry-out around 7:30pm on 7-21-2019, but they didn't have the Mexican side of the menu available. Tried to order from the Indian side of the menu, and many items were unavailable. For example, no lamb seekh kabob, no chicken seekh kabob, no nan, etc. They gave us pop on the house for the inconvenience which was very nice. What we were able to order was pretty good. The parathas are huge, the butter chicken and lamb biryani were okay, but it's not the kind of biryani I'm used to. The lamb karahi was my favorite, very tasty and spicy. We didn't really like the chicken boti. Fun concept to have Mexican and Indian food under one roof. Will update review after trying again.
Took my daughters for a quick lunch yesterday and ive never had Indian food but this place blew me away! A new favorite
We tried some Masala and Biryani food here, it was awesome. The service was excellent and the food was fresh.
Restaurantji Recommends
Delicious food in good quantity at an affordable price, best shrimp rice I had on Taylor Street. Thanks to the owners for bringing Devon food to Taylor Street. Mexican chips and red salsa was also really good. Hope they maintain their good work.
Delicious food. Their shrimp biriyani was brilliant. Mexican food is superb too. The serving sizes are too large for the price. It has a great serving style that feels authentic.
Great indian food with insanely large serving size for the money and the taste was great as well. Great customer service as well. Worth the money!!!!
Has to be the best Indian and Mexican place I have ever ate at. They have very well prepared food and taste was beyond this earth will be coming back next time customer service was tremendous and exquisite!
Customer service is good (perhaps a touch of over excitement given they are new) but the Indian food didn't taste too good. Ordered the biryani which was rice cooked separately and then some curry added on top which made the dish not homogenous at all. The BBQ items was fresh (made to order) but wasn't spicy at all (will tell them upfront next time to make it spicy). Didn't try Mexican there yet!
