We needed to be in Chicago for Thanksgiving this year and wanted to find a nice restaurant open Thanksgiving Day in Logan's Square. So happy we found Saba. They offered a pre fixe traditional Thanksgiving meal but we opted to order from the standard menu. Everything was delicious including the gnocchi with pesto, the linguini basilico with prosiutto, chicken and eggplant parms and cocktails. The staff was very friendly and really made a holiday out of town very enjoyable.

There are a couple of dishes I use to measure a restaurant - caesar salad, because it is so simple. and eggplant parmesan because it is much m=ore involved. Saba executed both dishes with great success. The caesar dressing was obviously made in house, just the right amount of garlic, a delightful anchovy umami, with first rate parm on fresh crisp greens.
