This was my first visit, and it turned out to be a great experience. The food was excellent, especially the garlic sauce, which had a unique zing that truly felt like Maracaibo’s signature touch. The arepas were hearty and filling—slightly different from the usual style but still very flavorful and satisfying. Service was quick, polite, and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. Prices were fair and reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I would happily recommend this restaurant to both Venezuelans and anyone new to the cuisine. It’s a welcoming place with great flavors and a memorable dining experience.

I bought hallacas because I love Venezuelan hallacas, but these hallacas didn't look good, they didn't have the taste of Venezuelan hallacas, and the cost of $10 for the hallacas was really not worth it.
That's why I'm leaving this comment; the food is actually good, but I don't recommend the hayacas (a type of tamale).

A vibrant spot for Venezuelan street food in Chicago’s Belmont-Cragin neighborhood. The beef empanadas are top-tier—generous, well-seasoned, and come with a creamy green sauce that stands out

I didn't like the empanadas, they were hard and looked old and the tequeyoyo was horrible. I hope they improve the quality of their service, otherwise people are going to leave.
