The only thing I have to highlight in this restaurant is its food, because the customer service is terrible and they need a little more kindness with people. After their service is not the best, there is a guy who ALWAYS DEMANDS HIS TIP. The place is small so they don't let you enter the back area, they always can't get in because it's reserved and it's always empty. The truth is that their attitude suggests that they do not like their job or perhaps it is too much to attend to the second room. They should change their concept now and train their staff so that someone like COLOMBIANO and the others who go have a good experience.

Located in the vibrant West Ridge neighborhood, Sabor A Café offers a tantalizing journey through the rich culinary landscape of Colombia. However, amidst the savory delights and mouth-watering carne asada, a noticeable disparity in service leaves a sour note in an otherwise flavorful experience. My visits to Sabor A Café have been a mix of culinary delight and disappointment. The menu boasts an array of Colombian classics, from hearty parrillada to delectable arepas con queso, each dish bursting with authentic flavors that transport diners to the streets of Bogotá or the coastal towns of Cartagena. It's evident that the kitchen takes pride in crafting dishes that pay homage to Colombia's culinary heritage.Yet, the dining experience is often marred by inconsistent service. While some patrons receive attentive care and warm hospitality, others, like myself, are met with indifference and occasional rudeness. It's disappointing to see such a disparity in treatment, especially in a neighborhood as diverse as West Ridge. As a Black diner, I couldn't help but notice the difference in how I was treated compared to other guests. The lack of acknowledgment and at times dismissive attitude is concerning, raising questions about inclusivity and respect for all customers. While I haven't personally addressed these concerns with management, it's evident that there's room for improvement in ensuring equitable treatment for all patrons. Despite the service hiccups, Sabor A Café remains a culinary gem in West Ridge, offering a flavorful taste of Colombia that's hard to resist. In conclusion, if you're in the mood for authentic Colombian cuisine, Sabor A Café delivers. Just be prepared for potential inconsistencies in service. I hope to see strides towards inclusivity and equality in the future, and reluctantly, I will give them another try.

The food was delicious but the service was very bad! It took a very long time for someone to take our order. My boyfriend had and I are patient people but it felt like no one was attending to us at all. After our meal was finished we asked for the check and waited another 15 minutes till my man reminded the waiter we wanted our check. I really enjoyed the food but the service needs to improve.

This was our first time at Sabor a Cafe, we went on a Saturday evening when Carpio and La Clave Maestra were performing, and they were amazing, as well as their music selection was great, and their perAs a Colombian, and vegetarian, we found d many options on the menu, the vegetarian emapnadas were GREAT!.service was top notch, from calling to make the reservation for our group of 10, to the moment we left. The atmosphere was soo fun and friendly. Our friends kept saying "we have to come back soon!", and we will!Highly recommended.

A few days ago I ordered delivery service from this restaurant via Uber east and when they went to pick it up, the restaurant had closed and they didn't have the audacity to call and say not to pick it up. And Uber canceled my service and I was left without being able to have dinner. Last week I went with a friend and you can't talk with a little privacy since they didn't allow us to go to the back room, because it's only for events, as if the place was very big and they had to walk a lot to bring a order. We settled in the first room at the entrance and the tables are very close to each other and it is very uncomfortable to be there almost sitting next to other people that you don't even know. Furthermore, it is time for them to change the December music. It is incredible that in all the Colombian restaurants outside our country they only play festival music at all times. It's fine on the weekends, but this music is maddening. In Colombia there are excellent restaurants and not all of them have the same style. It's time for them to get advice and change the concept a little. I loved this restaurant, but the truth is I'm too lazy to go and I no longer recommend it.
