The orange chicken is delicious, and the cheesecakes are heavenly. The service is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended

Standing alone in line for 10 minutes so far. All lights are on. Fridge is open. Cafe doesn't close for four more hours, and all surrounding restaurants are open with customers. No employees in sight.

The staff are amazing!!! I was running a little short on money and they gave me a free cookie when I asked how much it was and said never mind. When I get a job again I intend to come here regularly!

The cafe serves the best cinnamon scones I have ever tasted and will ever taste! I miss this cafe - please come back. Also, I did not visit this cafe in November of 2020 because they are closed but I had to select something from the drop-down box below to continue.

Great food

Whenever I’m in water tower, my first stop is at the bakery to grab a few chocolate chip coffee cakes to go. They are to-die-for! I was beyond surprised at how amazing they are! Next time I’m back, I will definitely try their coffee.

Absolutely love this place! I work in the Hancock building and was trying to find a coffee place other than Starbucks or Dunkin donuts. Enter SACRED GROUNDS located in water tower place next to FOODLIFE! WOW!! Large iced latte with half n half, amaretto and espresso. So creamy and YUMMY!! HAPPINESS IN A CUP! they also have numerous delicious baked goodies! I had the sticky cinnamon bun warmed up.... Omg... GREAT WAY TO START MY DAY! Highly recommend! If you are searching for something "different" for your morning coffee, come here! There are also tables and chairs spread around this particular floor so you can sit, RELAX and Enjoy yourself!! In a quiet place.... Around 830am.... Very happy and will be a regular! Prices are comparable to Dunkin and Starbucks.....next time I'll try their banana bread which was recommended by them...in addition, they offer all kinds of sandwiches! Coffee, sweets and sandwiches, OH MY!! ☺️

Omg! This place is amazing. Every time I travel to Chicago I stop by and grab their chocolate chip coffee cake!! So amazing!!!

The coffee is not great. It was extremely over roasted. The breakfast sandwiches were okay. Overall this place is over priced for what they're offering. Just go to the Starbucks on the upper floor and save money.

Perfectly brewed latte. A couple of remarkable pastries. If you go to Starbucks, you just aren't listening, or you don't care, or you're a Brit in search of tea, instead. This is java the way it was meant to be. Close your eyes and you could be in Milan.
