I almost don't want to leave this review because I don't want my hidden treasure getting to busy for me lol. They have wonderful pastries, baked goods and desserts. So delicious! One of my go to spots when I stay near the water tower. You can't go wrong with anything you order!

Whenever I’m in water tower, my first stop is at the bakery to grab a few chocolate chip coffee cakes to go. They are to-die-for! I was beyond surprised at how amazing they are! Next time I’m back, I will definitely try their coffee.

Mario made our experience here fantastic! His happy and fun personality, in addition to a delicious chai latte, were a great way to start the day. He even took the time to learn our names. And, to make our experience even better, he threw in two lemon cookies on the house. Thank you for adding a little sunshine to our day, Mario & staff! I will gladly choose this over any other coffee shop around N. Michigan from now on.

Absolutely love this place! I work in the Hancock building and was trying to find a coffee place other than Starbucks or Dunkin donuts. Enter SACRED GROUNDS located in water tower place next to FOODLIFE! WOW!! Large iced latte with half n half, amaretto and espresso. So creamy and YUMMY!! HAPPINESS IN A CUP! they also have numerous delicious baked goodies! I had the sticky cinnamon bun warmed up.... Omg... GREAT WAY TO START MY DAY! Highly recommend! If you are searching for something "different" for your morning coffee, come here! There are also tables and chairs spread around this particular floor so you can sit, RELAX and Enjoy yourself!! In a quiet place.... Around 830am.... Very happy and will be a regular! Prices are comparable to Dunkin and Starbucks.....next time I'll try their banana bread which was recommended by them...in addition, they offer all kinds of sandwiches! Coffee, sweets and sandwiches, OH MY!! ☺ï¸

Their coffee and pastries are excellent but I wanted to review because of the absolutely AMAZING staff they have. An extremely nice gentleman (Mario or Marty maybe?) and another lady were working today and honestly made my week. I can't even emphasize this enough, they are absolute angels and need some recognition. 100% I will be coming back.
