We arrived an hour 50 minutes before close on a busy Saturday after the Holiday Light Parade. It was our first time here. We chose this place as it had good reviews for pho. Dan, the owner, asked if we had reservations. We didn't but he immediately found as a seat. Atmosphere is fun and lively. We ordered their best sellers. Baby octopus, the branzino fish, short rib pho, banana cake, durian ice cream. Everything was WOW. My husband and I are Asian foodies. We love authentic dishes. This place cooks with love. It is like going to Grandma's and she prepared special dishes for her favorite grand child. My favorite is the pho. It is not a regular pho commonly found at Vietnamese restaurant. The short rib was roasted and the roasted flavor of the short rib transferred to the broth. I would say it is the best pho I ever had. My next favorite is the durian ice cream. I am over joyed at how good it is. I do not love durian as much as my husband does but this durian ice cream is just so good. It is home made and to me, it is perfection. The rest of the dishes were also good but those were my favorites. Dan, the owner, also came by often and asked how we were doing. He also explained how the dishes were made and where they came from. The restaurant is not large so it is best to make reservations.

What can I say about this place. My wife and I chose this spot as a date night. And the service, atmosphere, food, was all 10/10. Amazing tasty menu with very good portions for a great price. The owner is very caring for everyone and always looking after everyone’s experience making sure you enjoy your meal and experience at Saigon Sisters. We will for sure turn into regulars here! Oh and by the way, HALAL chicken!

Always fabulous! Love that I can continue eating here after going vegan. Tofu is always an option as a protein, and that barbecued eggplant dish has me salivating a day later!! One of my very favorite Chicago restaurants, will alway return for more. ❣️

The food and drinks were wonderful. Our server tried to teach my cousin and me how to use chopsticks. My cousin was successful. I was not. The drink with the cognac and rose was superb and so light that you forget that it's not just rose with lime. Service is above par. Also they have amazing art work on the walls and some of it is for sale! Just inquire with the staff! This was my second visit and it is just as amazing as it was the first.
