I never write reviews but I met Julia who worked Halloween and another weekend night that I came in once with a group of people and on Halloween I came alone. She's fantastic. I came back again to see her and I was told she got let go. She was the only reason I ended up frequenting Sakura. The staff now was rude and not helpful so I went elsewhere.

The room was very hot we kept asking for a fan or AC. It wasn't until almost the end that we got a fan. The drink tabs were all wrong they kept trying to over charge extra drinks that were never ordered. Not sure if our server was intoxicated but they kept forgetting what we ordered and then added drinks to wrong tabs and extra drinks. The hostess tried giving me someone else's ID AND CC. They seemed very disorganized and confused about their job.

Don't order any alcohol. I purchased a whisky sour and was charged for the ice used in my drink. I proof of this on my receipt. Such a scam

Did not have any food items! Nice place. Was in V.I.P room they've updated since the last time I've been. The staff was very friendly and professional! 1 main thing is they DEFINITELY NEED MORE MUSIC OPTIONS!!!

I was a little disappointed by this place honestly. I threw my birthday party here and had VIP room number one which is the biggest one. I was never let know how much this would cost when I booked it. It ended up being so ridiculously expensive for things that occurred here. The music system doesn't have any song that you want, you can only choose from what they have. It wasn't loud enough to really fill the room which bothered me. I had one server who was attentive, but I felt like there should've been maybe one more person because we were constantly needing him to come back to order more things for a party full of 20+ people. Once he went away, we couldn't find him. At the end of the night, he ended up giving me the wrong ID and credit card back (they keep it in their possession), this is pretty dangerous and considering, if I was not as coherent, I would have no idea and would've left without my stuff. Lots of technical issues with the system, and I was confused how this was happening because it seemed like the staff didn't know what was going on or how to fix things. I just felt like for the price that I paid which was over $500, it would've been a seamless experience and I wouldn't have complaints. So over all — it was volume, song choice, and service that could've been better. Way better. Also when I showed up, no one really explained anything to me. They briefly tell you how the room works, but I was lost on how to work the system, how to work the mics , what to do.

Reserved a room early in the week and called two days before the reservation to confirm it. I was told our room was scheduled and they would be ready to see us, but unfortunately, they did not seem ready at any point while we were there. I might even venture to say they were unprepared. Lack of service was not a huge deal while we were just in our room singing and waiting 30 minutes for our drinks. But then, a few minutes before our reservation was running out, an employee came to collect an ID, which apparently was supposed to have happened when we checked in. I asked to go ahead and close out, and was told we were all good, just to collect my ID when we check out. Then we finished up and I went to collect my ID, which is when the chaos became more apparent. I think every employee was walking around slightly panicked, which makes sense because it also seemed like almost every guest had an issue. I told the man who collected my ID that I needed it back, and he said he would get it, then he kept speed walking around and would look at me and hold up a finger☝️ as if to say "just one minute." About 25 minutes later, a different bartender talked to us to collect our drink orders from almost two hours ago, at which point we finally closed out, I collected my ID, and we escaped the chaos. On a separate note, it was also quite difficult to find songs in the karaoke system. There was a limited library (no Olivia Rodrigo??) with poor search functionality and even some basic software bugs (e.g. search "C" and it would show Charli XCX, but search for "CH" and Charli XCS is nowhere to be found). In spite of the lackluster hospitality, we had a good time. After all, it's karaoke.

I rented a small private karaoke room for my birthday on open table. When we went in for our reservation it was a complete disaster. Kimberly, who was assisting us, said we had reserved a table instead of a room. I explained through the process of reserving online, i selected private small room and paid the $50 deposit. She said no, we reserved the table, but she would get back to me and started helping another group (who coincidentally had the same problem). When i went up to her to follow up, (10 minutes later) she had forgotten completely who i was and what the problem was. She was very clearly intoxicated, and i wasn’t the only one who thought so. There was a trainee, it was her first day, and the trainee was very helpful and understanding of the situation. At one point, Kimberly started blaming her and saying sorry it was her first day, but i assured Kimberly that the trainee had done nothing wrong. I was very thankful the trainee was there and trying to help. After another distraction, Kimberly came back and said yes we reserved a room and i had a balance of $128 for the reservation, i thought everything got figured out so i paid. Immediately after submitting payment, Kimberly said “Oh wait, they don’t have a room they only reserved a table”. Then we stayed for another 20 minutes trying to figure out how I can get refunded for everything because i just wanted to leave at that point. Kimberly was very unprofessional and i don’t normally leave reviews, but i felt it was necessary for this situation, especially since we weren’t the only party involved having problems.

First of all, it was my birthday, and we had reservations, but we still had to wait 30 minutes just to get our room. Thankfully, a girl named Julia helped us, and she was amazing—she made sure we finally got the room. However, once we were inside, no one ever came to check on us. We didn't even get water or any help with the machine. The machine itself feels outdated and was difficult to use—for example, when typing in a name, there isn't even a space button. Most of the songs were old, with very few newer options available. On top of that, every time we wanted a drink, we had to leave the room and go outside to the bar to order. For a place that takes reservations, I expected much better service and support, especially for a special occasion.
