Absolutely outstanding place for sandwiches, coffee, and Italian/Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. Nothing fancy, but quite filling for lunch. A nice mix of students, locals, tourists, and university faculty or staff. Everything is low key delicious and vaguely retro without being Disneyfied. Not a diner per se, but a cousin of one. Fave place in Hyde Park!

The atmosphere is relaxed and diner-casual, with friendly staff and a vibe that’s perfect for a laid-back meal after exploring Hyde Park or just grabbing a bite before hitting the Museum Campus.

Wonderful Hyde Park neighborhood diner experience. Friendly staff, efficient service, reliably good food. Never feel rushed, even when busy. Excellent diversity of patrons - locals, students, regulars, newbies, etc.
