We absolutely love coming to Sal’s for the incredible food, ambience, and warm attentive staff. You cannot go wrong, but we recently enjoyed the bone marrow, fettuccine carbonara and branzino. Our parents were delighted by the rigatoni bolognese and trout dishes. For dessert, we were wowed by an apple pie panna cotta and gelato. We look forward to checking out the spring menu!
A very cozy environment with warm aesthetics. Had a birthday dinner and recieved excellent service. Beet salad was fresh and tasty, Rigatoni was very good and desert with birthday candle topped the night off. Nice neighborhood authentic Italian restaurant.
One of my new Chicago favorites. Great food (we had the eggplant parmesan and the Amatriciana) and they are both big hits.
The atmosphere was fantastic, service was excellent, and food was as close to Italy as we have found stateside.
