Went into the restaurant ordered carry out, told them 3 times specifically what I wanted got home. The order was incorrect called the restaurant. No one could speak English all they kept saying to me over and over again was no beef here, so in addition to it being ridiculously overpriced, they can't service their customers.

It's simply OK. I can't think of anything else to say. There was nothing special.

Amazing food and amazing service!!! We love the quality of food here!
It was our first time eating at San Soo Gab San, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The Kalbi was tender and full of flavor, the Bulgogi perfectly marinated, and the Haemul Pajeon (seafood pancake) soft, savory, and packed with seafood and scallions.
The real wood charcoal gives everything a deep, smoky flavor that makes the meal unforgettable. The spread of banchan (traditional Korean side dishes) was generous and delicious, and the service was warm and attentive.
We also love that they’re one of the few spots on the North Side open until midnight on Friday and Saturday — perfect for a late-night craving. For authentic Korean BBQ in Chicago, San Soo Gab San is a must. We can’t wait to go back!

Classic Korean bbq restaurant with great service and more than you can eat complimentary side dishes/banchan!

Some of the best Korean food I’ve had in awhile. Tons of Bon Chon. Very filling and our servers were so kind!

It was worst galbe tang ever. It was amazing how soup does not have a taste of meat. It was taste like a just water. I am the person who has zero knowledge to how to cook . But I think I make a tang better than this.
I would never go back . No way

The food was extremely salty and ridiculously overpriced. I ordered Japchae as a main dish, but it was served in a tiny side-dish portion — completely unacceptable. The Galbitang (short rib soup)tasted like nothing but artificial seasoning. Very disappointing and not worth the money.
