One of my favorite Rogers Park restaurants! Everything is made by hand and they truly care about what’s on your plate. Friday night pizza is amazing, and I could not love their cocktails more. I also love that they have a core menu, but always have really fun and delicious specials.

Had the bodega breakfast sando after a long bike ride. The brioche was nothing short of perfect and the whole thing was delicious. Definitely coming back multiple times. Staff was super friendly. and the place has a good atmosphere. This is one of those places that you're surprised it isn't packed.

SBK is everything… the pastries and cookies are so delicious, always a decadent treat. The savory sandwiches, so flavorful with house made sauces in the mix. Weekends start off right with an SBK pizza on a Friday night. I’ve been coming here for years. During Covid, SBK became my local grocery store. One of my favorite establishments in Chicago, I will always be a fan.
This place is the most consistent, inventive, caring diner I’ve ever been to. Since discovering it about a year ago, I have been coming pretty much weekly for my go to favorites. Renatta, Kevin, Mike, anne and everyone there are the most genuine of folks! Don’t sleep on this tucked away gem, it’s worth any distance to enjoy.
Service here was ridiculous. The pizza came out 25 min after I complained which was 40 min after we ordered. They must have just forgotten to put in our order. Told us it would only be 30 min when we ordered. After I asked about our order the owner told me to just sit down and never came to apologize etc. and was just talking with customers the whole time. What a joke

A gift to the neighborhood! Anne and Mike are the coolest warmest people and have made a real community space. They make the best pizza in Chicago, unmatched pastries, and incredible grilled cheese.
Our favorite local cafe and brunch hands down! Renata’s hospitality is infectious and the staff and owners so evidently care about the service and quality of the food. Can’t recommend SBK enough!
