Had the bodega breakfast sando after a long bike ride. The brioche was nothing short of perfect and the whole thing was delicious. Definitely coming back multiple times. Staff was super friendly. and the place has a good atmosphere. This is one of those places that you're surprised it isn't packed.
One of my favorite places in the city. The service is amazing, the owners are amazingly kind people who give so much back to the community, and the food is innovative, healthy, and supports amazing local farmers and purveyors.
SBK is everything… the pastries and cookies are so delicious, always a decadent treat. The savory sandwiches, so flavorful with house made sauces in the mix. Weekends start off right with an SBK pizza on a Friday night. I’ve been coming here for years. During Covid, SBK became my local grocery store. One of my favorite establishments in Chicago, I will always be a fan.
