I hired Savor27 for my birthday party and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. You MUST try their signature Lamb Chops or you will regret it. The prices were great and the food was full of flavor. The best part is the Chef will customize a menu to fit your specific needs. Make sure to try them out for your next event. Oh and did I mention they do in home private dining as well? I am hiring them again very soon.Vegetarian options: Chef customized a menu to include veggie items.

I was looking to write a review about the food, but since I didn't have any, I can't write about it. Instead, I'll write about what happened to me. I had been looking for a good seafood place near me for a while. I've tried some but wanted to try Savor27. The food on their site looked so delicious. It made my mouth water. Well, I tried calling to place a to-go order, the number on their site was a cellphone number and didn't mention the restaurant at all. I, then, tried the number at the bottom of their website and it was a number to some type of medical facility. Those should have been red flags, but I thought to myself that I'd go up to the location since it wasn't very far from me. Needless to say, there is no Savor27 on 3220 W Grand Ave. I was slightly disappointed because I was anticipating some good food. I hope that they are still in business and that, if they have moved, they update their website and contact information. I would like to try the seafood fair that they offer.

I rarely leave reviews, but this is by far THE BEST fried catfish in all of Chicago! Not only do they sell quality food, but at a price worth coming back every time! And let's talk about the hot sauce! Whether it's homemade or not, something about the hot sauce paired with the catfish makes the food taste even more amazing!! I've already ordered 3 times in less than 2 weeks, that's how good this place is! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

I grabbed the pasta and it definitely don't look like the other picture they displayed to us but I'll still give it a 3/5 stars. Rice was great also

I've only ever ordered delivery from them and the first time, the food was so delicious. The order was delivered hot and fresh. The second time, it was a little bit different. The order delivery time was great, they were quite fast, which probably also explains the hot and fresh food. Which is also very nice. The food: Shrimp Po' Boy - the first time was super delicious and fresh and hot. The shrimp was cooked well and they give you a lot of shrimp, which is very nice. The second time, not as good...the shrimp was a little rubbery and not hot at all. Fries - the first time, it was so delicious and fresh and hot. The second time, they were stale and like they'd been cooked a while before and came cold. Shrimp basket and fries - they were delicious and so many, enough to last for two meals and the fries were very good too. Jambalaya - delicious, great flavor, good kick TLDR: worth checking out, but it doesn't seem like the consistency is there. the flavors are spot on though.

Y'all. I'm from Louisiana and this food is legit! Ordered Fried Catfish with the seafood dirty rice. Catfish had a fantastic punch due to the batter and hot sauce treatment. Dirty rice was legit with great fresh spices and delicious shrimp. Very Thankful for this meal. I highly recommend this place.

I rarely leave reviews, but OMG!!! My order arrived hot and very very tasty. We were hungry...we ordered the seafood dirty rice with catfish, the cheese steak and peppers rolls, the honey j*** wings and a fried catfish dinner. The food was individually packaged well. The catfish was crispy and we can tell it was marinated with some spices. It had a cajun kick. The dirty rice was bursting with a lot of savory sweet flavors resembling the Caribbean islands. The cheese steak and pepper rolls were surprisingly not the basic spring rolls. I've had my fair share of meat cheese and vegetables mixed together, wrapped and deep fried. But these were different because the chef actually took the time to marinate the steak before combining it with the other ingredients and boy you can taste the difference. The honey j*** chicken wings were exactly that, wings with a sweet j*** flavor, crispy and good. The only thing I questioned was the fries. But I'm not a fan of any fries unless they're freshly cut and seasoned with sea salt. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures because my family was too busy sampling everything.Our dinner was delicious!!! This was our first time eating at Savor 27 it definitely will not be our last!!!

Some of the best lamb chops I've ever had. Very tender and flavorful and the sweet potatoes purée paired very well with it providing some sweetness! My food arrived hot and perfectly sealed. I cannot wait to try other dishes that are in the menu. Definitely won me over with this meal.

Food arrived on time , was hot and packaged well . Portions were plentiful . The chicken and fish were really delicious but the pasta was not good. I took only a few bites before throwing it out , the taste was very odd so I wouldn't recommend it at all . Besides the pasta , everything else was great . I would order again.

The lamb & puree sweet potatoes is hands down one of the best dishes. The menu has a lot of variety to satisfy any sweet & savory tastes. The j*** chicken pineapple bowls are full of flavor.
