On Saturday, I was on my way to a cavernous brunch at Trevoli Tavern when I noticed the line snaking out the door for this coffee spot. Intrigued (and mildly caffeinated), I circled back after brunch and grabbed a bag of beans—because I’m a bit of a coffee nerd, and hope springs eternal.
Unfortunately, there’s not much to say. If you’re looking for overpriced, underwhelming coffee with a side of regret, this place delivers. Honestly, you’re better off at Starbucks. Same quality, less effort. Don’t mistake this for a Starbucks endorsement.

Ordered an iced matcha latte, it was good but had little chunks floating around which was slightly disappointing. Still good!

Good coffee, the photos have ceramic cups but when you actually go there’s only paper :(
Really good coffee and nice atmosphere. Prices are a bit misleading as they assess a 3.25% restaurant service charge on top of all purchases.

Very negative experience, I ordered from Sawada coffee from DoorDash several times, they usually ignored the option I made for the coffee ( like I have chosen creamer and sugar ) but they gave me a plain black coffee. For the recent two times I ordered, I order 1 latte 1 strong drip with sugar and creamer, they gave me 2 strong drip, while one is plain black, meanwhile another one has been put twice amount of sugar, have to toss them.
limited menu. They did forget items that I ordered so I would recheck the order. Bit pricey but you pay for the atmosphere. It is worth a visit.

The vibes are cool atmosphere is chill, staff was great. I really really wanted to like this place but the he coffee is so mild and not strong. The latte was watered down and had no espresso flavor just lukewarm milk. The cold brew + chocolate tasted like mud water.
The matcha donut that I got just tasted like I oil. :( I wanted to like this sooo bad but not my fav spot

Pretty good coffee! I just settled for a classic vanilla latte which did the job. I was left satisfied and looking forward to trying more drinks.

My latte tastes like warm milk. Either no coffee in this or their espresso is virtually flavorless.

Definitely a cool looking place. I got a coffee, a pour over, and it took the normal amount of time (10 minutes). My kid got a big cookie and he was a fan. Overall it was such a nice place, very hip.
This place shares space with a Texas bbq place that has a bar. Seating is a little confusing because it shares the space but they have a set of stairs (to no where) to sit and that was fun / casual.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids, loud environment, fun seating

The coffee taste is good but I asked for large size cup they said it comes in one small size only, also I asked for extra hot it was warm, and I feel the prices were kinda high. Was expecting better than this as a first time visitor.

Recommended. I really like their military latte. It's a very impressive drink if you are a matcha fan. I will have to drop by again for more options of drinks they have. The decorations are very welcoming. Just one comment. They should have more seating for customers.

Was there today, March 1st at 8am. Ordered a Chai Latte hot. I guess they don't put lids on hot drinks. I'll stick with Starbucks.

Cool hang out spot but definitely not a coffee spot, but decent place for matcha. Tried their Military Latte (hot) to get a taste of what they are known for.
Their matcha is definitely potent and flavorful suggesting excellent quality (not very versed in matcha but it was very good). Esspresso is terrible; only thing getting me through that military latte is the matcha.
Somehow an extra shot of espresso is $2 which is criminal for the quality. And it's definitely not the batista issue. Saw them make it. Technique was good, batista service was uber quick and practiced dispite the decently sized line.
The easy going, hole in the wall, hipster vibe is overall pretty nice for a more laxed atmosphere comparatively within the neighborhood. Not very cohesive, but a vibe.
