Horrible! 😔
I was very impressed by the flavors in the food. This became one of my favorite restaurants. My salute to the chef and cooks, for the magic that goes on in that kitchen. I been craving this food ever since, and can’t wait to go back.

We ordered sandwiches from this place a few months ago. The pickup estimate was 10-15 minutes. I went to pick up the food and had to wait an additional hour and fifteen minutes, so an hour and a half to pick up 2 sandwiches. In a restaurant that was COMPLETELY empty at the time. The staff was incredibly rude when I asked for an update as their website said 10-15 minutes. To top it off the food was soggy, Luke warm and the Cuban sandwich wasn't even on the correct bread. The fries were so stale and tasted like freezer burn. Spend your money elsewhere. Rude staff and long wait times are not worth it for mediocre food.
Sad as the space is gorgeous for the restaurant.

The sandwich had a brown hair inside of it and when I call the restaurant the manager want to ask if I was sure like I can’t tell what hair look like I would left a zero star but was not a option

The ropa vieja was incredibly tasty. The Cuban sandwich one of the best we’ve tried in the city and the empanadas were delicious as well. Great service and great atmosphere, walked by it and grabbed lunch on a Saturday. We’ll definitely come back!

This place was soooooooo good. Got the lechon asado and shrimp jibarito and after the first bite I knew it was an incredible meal! Jibarito was excellent and full of flavor, and congri rice on the side was a great addition. Chicken was so savory and the roll was soft and buttery! Sauce was good, everything was good. Added a yuca rellena on the side, again we were wowed after 1 bite. Such a great decision to get takeout here absolutely no regrets.

With not too many Cuban options here in Chicago this place does it right. My mother in law is from Cuba and it got her stamp of approval!
