First time visiting Chicago, we were determined to try different types of Chicago food in the area. Luckily, we stayed at Ohio House where Schneider Deli was located so of course we had to try. OMG!! Their pastrami sandwich was the best I've ever had, hands down. My husband and I liked it so much we went back the next day for another sandwich. I've been a fan of pastrami for forever now but after tasting theirs, it made me question if I had ever had really tasted pastrami....
This is a perfect breakfast spot for a bagel and some coffee. I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with pastrami and hash browns. The egg everything bagel was cooked with the perfect crisp. They had a mom and pop ambiance with swift service. Although, it is a little pricey, I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite.
We ordered for Break Fast and it was perfect. They really helped with determining amounts given the number of ppl and breakdown of adults and kids. My “go to” for catering and holiday orders!
