My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this place. All the staff was warm and welcoming, knowledgeable on the drinks and their ingredients, and also other non-menu drinks we ordered. The food was tasty. We had the burger and the Italian beef dishes with a side of fries. The ambiance was nice, not too loud, we were able to enjoy our conversation all night without raising our voices. Heard rave reviews about the Scofflaw burger and WOW… it did not disappoint. Perfectly smashed with caramelized onions for added flavor. The fries were also perfect.
I got an espresso martini and that was delicious & creamy (no beans though, sad). It’s a loud bar but good vibes, great service and even better food. Highly recommend!

If you are tired of pretentious bar/restaurants this is your place. Scofflaw puts their energy into the food, craft cocktails and comfortability. We loved the inviting and easy-natured neighborhood feel. Low lighting and generously spaced seating allows for guests to have some privacy! Killer vibe all around.

Scofflaw meets all the criteria you want in a perfect neighborhood bar. Good cocktails and even better food in a cozy atmosphere, you can’t go wrong here. The Scofflaw burger is easily one of the best in Chicago and deserves more recognition. Perfectly cooked double patty with cheese, house sauce, grilled onion, and pickles, and don’t forget to add the bacon! And the bun, I know that sounds like a strange part to rave about, but a good bun is so important to a burger and this one is flawless.
Also they have a great charcuterie selection. I would highly recommend stopping in here if you’re ever in Logan Square!
