There is no menu posted in the shop, only small pieces of paper with some items listed and scattered throughout the place. And there are no prices listed anywhere. I got a cookie (regular size) with a scoop of ice cream on top and it came to over 12.00! I am all for supporting a vegan business and I expect to pay a little more but this was outrageous.
I can't help but think that the lack of transparency about the pricing is on purpose.

Great customer service and tasty GF & Vegan treats! I live out of state and was looking for a GF and vegan place to send something sweet to my daughter for her birthday. My other daughter found Scoops Dessert Bar online so I called them to see if they deliver on Sundays, which they do! Brittany (who I spoke with and is also the owner) was patient with all my questions and flexible with my change in delivery time (no delivery fee!). I ended up ordering a variety pack of four ice cream sandwiches. Brittany said she would write a birthday greeting on the box. They were delivered at time requested. My daughter was thrilled by this “sweet” surprise! She sent the attached photo and said she tried a bit of the cookie and it was delicious. She also asked me for their info so she can visit them in person (they make GF churros every other weekend, next on her list to try!).Dietary restrictions: Also accommodate people with nut allergies.

I am so happy I found this place in Chicago that serves gluten free and vegan pastries (a lot of times it is one or the other). I wanted to send my daughter something sweet for her birthday, and not living in the city I needed delivery. The customer service over the phone was amazing. Not only do they deliver, they were accommodating with my desired delivery time, adjusting when I realized the time I gave them wouldn't work. The delivery was on time and communicative. I ordered four ice cream sandwiches. They were delivered in a nice cake box in which they wrote a birthday greeting on and put tissue around the cookies to make it look attractive. Each ice creamsandwich was large, the size of my daughter's hand. Most importantly, my daughter said the ice cream sandwich tasted delicious. A great find for dairy and gluten intolerant individuals that want tasty treats.

Very nice dessert cafe called Scoops. They have gluten free and vegan options, gelato, ice cream, cookies, brownies and cupcakes and kombucha drinks. Highly recommended!

Was super excited to try this spot. Paid for parking and tried to come in at 5pm on a Saturday and they were closed. Door said open till 8pm on Saturday and online said open as well. No sign indicating reason for closing. Pretty disappointed because this was on our list of places to stop while in town and I lost out on money for parking.

If your looking for a gluten free cupcake... don't stop.... Keep looking.....Sadly disappointed. My husband stopped here for me as he was walking back to our hotel. As I'm gluten free he was excited to stumble on to this place. The assortment looked great! Unfortunately they were dense, dry and flavorless. The frosting was like eating gritty sugar. We choked down the first one together. We attempted to try the other three but after a single small bite they ended up in the trash as we couldn't choke down anymore. Price the assortment was $28.40 and being gluten free and city always = expensive so it is what it is. I just wished they would have tasted good. :( maybe the ice cream is better? Just don't get the cupcakes, you will thank me later!

Im literally obsessed with Scoops! Not only do all these treats taste so delicious, but I also can’t believe it’s all Vegan! Makes my tummy so happy to be able to enjoy these tasty desserts without inflaming my tummy with dairy!.I also absolutely love the owner Brittany! She’s so sweet and you see her passion come out in her work! ?

Good texture and taste but the blueberry muffin was raw in the middle. For a $7 muffin I’d hoped for baked. Edited to add: I bake gluten free very often and know what raw is. It was cooked on top but there was unbaked batter in the middle. It could have been because of the blueberries, but it was definitely not because of the different ingredients used. The pumpkin muffin was done but over baked, dry and chewy. I didn’t bring it to the attention of the staff because I took it to go. Not trying to wreck your business, just provide my experience and feedback so you’re aware of some issues. I’m always happy to try gluten free bakeries when I travel.

DELICIOUS ice cream and dessert!! Tanaeja took such good care of us - her recommendations were flawless and she was so kind and friendly!We were here for a girl’s weekend getaway from out of town and this was our final stop on our final day, and it was the sweetest way to end our trip.The shop also has the CUTEST swing seats, and an incredible greenery wall - super cute photo opps!

Love this place! Stumbled upon Scoops by happy accident last year and my life is forever changed. It's such a blessing to find gluten free, dairy free, corn free desserts! I love their mini donuts, cupcakes, and regular sized donuts. Especially the apple cider donut. Everything is amazing, I highly recommend...will always make a special stop here when I'm in the city!

The customer service was excellent ,Tanisha was very helpful and sweet. I wanted to treat my vegan and gluten free friend. This can be hard finding accommodating foods for both dietary restriction, this place made it easy. will be regulars from now on.
