This place is such a neighborhood gem with a lot of character. Rudy, the owner/bartender, is a friendly guy with a knack for hosting. Came here the first time for a friend's jazz show and had to come back again. Their Ćevapi is EXCELLENT and they have a decent liquor selection. Rudy recommended I try some Rakija, which I'd never had before and really liked (although it's strong, and my friend didn't like the taste). While we were sitting and chatting, Rudy put on a nice piano record. Small businesses like this are why I like living in Chicago -- a lowkey neighborhood spot with great food, great music, and great drinks.

Local band played. Krononauts! 5 dollar shot and a bud on Sundays without the band. Regular prices with a band. Serbian food looks great.

Unfortunately we wanted to try the food and service of this highly recommended place on August 2, 2022, but when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly and concerned person trying to apologize because they had a problem with a defective ventilation equipment that forced them to close the kitchen for that day, unfortunately we traveled back to our city the next day without having the opportunity to try it. Without a doubt, it remains on the list of places to visit soon and we are sorry for the problem, but pleased with the way this older and respectful gentleman treated us. Hopefully they have fixed the problem and can continue to offer their service to their customers.

I love this place so much but it's $6 for a PBR. Are you kidding me!?! I almost felt bad buying anything knowing I am being ripped off. Go for the music but prices for things make it not worth at all.

The Food Was Amazing!!! I love MEAT so this is Perfect for me! The Pure Era of Serbian culture fulfilled my fetish for Europeans. The staff was amazing made me feel like a true Serbian :D This little kid came down the stairs was annoying, but other than that the experience was amazing. The little girl seemed very nice but she was messin up my vibe. Also I feel like this place is great for family meetups. Some people may not be able to do that though...... 4 stars only cause of that little girl

Excellent atmosphere and the food was fantastic! The only drawback was the owner kept answering the phone every couple minutes coming back visibly angry. Kinda strange but definately would go back to “get the stuff”

Mondays for jazz, Fridays, Saturday for a very unique musical experience with the friendliest, talented musicians. And don't forget to eat some home cooked serbian food by Rudy and his lovely wife.
