SGD DUBU SO GONG DONG TOFU & KOREAN BBQ

10 minutes walk from Willis Tower. A Korean restaurant easily accessible while walking around downtown Chicago. The Korean owner is very kind and the soft tofu stew and rice are generous, as the owner likes. I highly recommend it because you can go to the Korean mart after eating. See you again.

I ate soft tofu and pork bulgogi with my brother, but after eating gourmet food, I felt a bit sick and completely vomited in the middle of the night, so it was a little better. Maybe there was some food that wasn't fresh. It seems like food poisoning.
The next day came and I couldn't work and had diarrhea all day...

I ordered the Korean A1 seafood soondubu . I liked the full amount of tofu and it tasted good. Side dishes include kimchi and corn. It would be perfect if the eggs and shrimps could be fresher!

I found it.
It's expensive, but eating sweet and spicy ramen gives me energy.
I bought chicken and ate it at the hotel.
It tasted like Korean chicken.

So good! Definitely coming back! It all paired well together and is a great spot. Someone got theirs from next stall and was dissatisfied because they got the order wrong. Which I almost went too. I'm glad I didn't.

Parking: For some of the spots it angled oddly, so you have to menuver out of the spots. I'd suggest checking out the bakery next door. They have great cakes.

Had the seafood soondubu and all the seafood tasted bad. The clams were particularly bad I had to spit them out. Overpriced for the quality of food

Very friendly staff , not very big menu but enough to have a choice. Amazing , absolutely delicious fried dumplings, I liked the tiny sides of kimchi, radish and cucumber

Wish I could give zero stars. The guy was extremely rude/ dismissive of me. Ignored me, wouldn’t look me in the eyes and didn’t ask me basic questions like are you eating here or doing takeout. Immediately after me was a Korean couple and his entire persona switched up I was shocked it was the same person I interacted with. What really compelled to write is review is how SICK I’ve been since eating here. I’m currently on day two of unbearable stomach pains and not being able to hold anything down and it can’t help but make me suspicious that the racism didn’t stop at rudeness.
