had a quick dinner here before sending my family off. food was perfect, our server terry was so attentive and hospitable. never thought a quick meal at shake shack would become a highlight of the trip for my family!

Place is chaos. I've been getting ads for weeks for this Korean sandwich, drive all the way here, pay to park, walk 3 blocks, they're sold out of all Korean stuff and out of half the shakes and drinks. Disappointing.

Our family of 4 all tried different burgers claiming theirs were the best. Perfect stop before ice skating at Millennium Park.

Food was great. Service is OK- they are very slow. They also don't wear hairnets whike handling food. Super gross. Atmosphere is cute inside the hotel.

The location of this shake shack is great and the timing and service was good. Although,i was extremely disappointed by the quality of the food. Me and my friend went, I got a double patty burger with bacon, the meat was too greasy and salty i couldn’t finish it. At first i thought it was just mine, but my friend said the same thing about his burger. Later on i had bad stomach pains from eating that burger. I do not recommend

Whoever was training a new employee today did a horrible job when they kept avoiding taking orders for people who did not want to use iPads. I wouldn’t mind this if the employees were actually working, but this is not what happened. They were texting and talking together.

The burgers are undercooked and the fries are overcooked. This was an extremely disappointing experience considering I did not eat lunch and could not eat the food I paid for. I don’t eat raw meat and do not expect to bite into a burger and see pink in the middle. I intentionally walked beyond my stop to grab an online order before getting on the train to go home. This is my second time with this issue at this location (the first time was in the summer of 2025), but it is not my experience at other Shake Shack locations. Save your time and money and eat elsewhere on Michigan Ave.

Shake Shack Chicago Athletic Association is one of coolest Shake Shack locations. Historic building, beautiful interior, and classic Shake Shack taste. Burger is juicy, fries crispy, and shake is always dangerous sweet. 観光ついでに最高。It’s fast food but feels little special here. Sitting inside this building eating burger makes Chicago trip more fun.
