This burger is about looks, not taste. Very overrated and not very flavorable. The bun is kinda gummy and the shake was too thick and not worth the calories.

Shame on Shack Shack! This was my first time to the downtown Chicago location. Please note I'm from the East Coast and have been to numerous Shack Shacks. Let's start with the fact that there are no people interaction other than dispensing of the food you order. You order your food from two of the three working monitors. You stand in a queue with others awaiting your turn to submit your food order. There is not a person around to ask questions about food selections. In short, having it your way will never is an option at this Shake Shack. The people preparing the food never make eye contact and avoid all interaction with customers. Honestly, this is just what it is "place that serves food and waits in a queue to make orders". Thanks for showing how I don't want to be treated as a person that is paying my hard earned money!

It’s probably just the US prices in general but shake shack is just SO OVERPRICED these days. 34$ for 2 single burgers (1 with avocado), 2 regular fries and 1 large lemonade …?!?!? (without tip) ???But I mean the food is really good…. But still…
Impromptu lunch at Shake Shack in Chicago. Enjoyed the Korean Style Fried BBQ Chicken Sandwich and it did not disappoint. The fresh cut fries are yummy of course.

The people working here were so kind. Nos and his manager were absolutely wonderful. We had an issue online ordering and the resolved it right away. The online order that did go through was ready right when we walked in the door. Their shakes were AMAZING and we were extra excited to see that there was a dairy free option as well. Burger and fries also great. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Tasty burger at usual. Smoke shack is spicy from the peppers.Good fries, but not enough.I'm not a huge fan of shake shack shakes. Wouldn't get again after trying chocolate and hot cocoa.Bathroom was dirtay.You can order with a person or on a tablet by yourself.
Coming from NYC, Shake Shack is a common fast food spot for us, but we stopped here for a snack since my kid loves their hot dogs. It was very crowded and busy, not surprising given its location right off Michigan Avenue, but we did manage to get a table fairly quickly. The food was about the same as every other Shake Shack and exactly what we expected. I think if you're visiting Chicago, there are more interesting places in this area to eat, but if you've never been to Shake Shack or if you have a little one wanting a familiar snack, it works.

this is hands down the BEST burger i have ever had. their fries are also really delicious and have the perfect saltiness. the burger is so juicy (i recommend getting a double, that’s what i did) and has this delectable buttery flavor too from the bun i think. i also really liked both of their flavored lemonades. i loved the meal so much that i came back the next day! the only con is it can be really hard to find a seat since it’s really popular. but once you do, you’re in for a treat.
