Haven’t had Shake Shack since someone gave me an underwhelming Chicken Shack. I was over at Union Station and I thought about another chicken chain until I read the reviews for that particular location. Then I saw Shake Shack over at Willis Tower was open. Why not get a BIG burger from a BIG tower? That’s exactly what I ordered, The Big Shack. It was delicious, absolutely delicious. Next time I’d request they pull the middle bun or I’d just order a double of something else. Maybe I’ll let them try to redeem that poor example of a Chicken Shack I received previously? So go on and get a BIG burger from a BIG tower and stuff yourself.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening after visiting the Willis Tower Skydeck to grab a quick bite. I ordered the SmokeShack burger and my boyfriend got the Big Shack burger, plus we shared the Parmesan Garlic Fries.

The place was pretty empty and clean — overall just a simple fast-food kind of vibe, nothing particularly special about the atmosphere. We did have a little trouble ordering at the kiosk since it kept giving an error when we tried to check out, and no one was at the register. A worker eventually helped and had someone take our order manually, which was appreciated.

The fries were a disappointment — dry, not much flavor, and mostly covered in powdered Parmesan. The garlic dipping sauce on the side was okay but didn’t really save it. The burgers were decent but a bit dry and lacking that juicy flavor you’d expect from Shake Shack.

Overall, an average experience. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back to this location.

Food was fresh and the service was prompt. Not much opportunity for interaction with the hard working staff… kiosks for ordering.

I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for some time and I wasn’t disappointed.

It is in the lower level of the Willis tower, on your to enter the skydeck attraction. A very convenient place to take some lunch or a refresher. Be ware that the place does not take cash, only credit cards and the orders are taken by automated stations. The hamburgers are tasty, also the place is comfortable enough for taking a break from a tour day.
There are some restrooms on the lower level and they are clean and practical.

First time having a shake shack burger. I would say it is a quality burger and shake though I do think they are a bit overpriced. At this location there are kiosk only ordering stations which I dont think is a bad thing. Food came out within 5-10 minutes of being ordered. Not a bad first experience here!

Well I decided to go to the Willis Tower to see and try this shake shack burger,. It is a franchise I see a lot and kind of made it into a bucket list of curiosity. It was just a meh ok. I say this because I compare this to the taste of a Culver's butterburger it almost tastes the same and even the size is the same. To me it was a copy check of a Culver's Burger franchise the burgers taste just like that and it's not bad but at the same time I could have just gone to Culver's. Another thing I did not like was the service because if you go to a live person they only accept cash and the kiosk I have a blood donation card and it's not a tap or a chip you have to swipe like the old school credit cards and they don't offer that and if you go to the service person he only accepts cash.ambience as usual is pretty hip or especially since it's at the Willis Tower so it's very touristy it's just a bit overpriced for my taste it's not a bad Burger but it's not some place I would go because the taste of their shake shack Burger is almost exactly the same as a culver's burger and it's less expensive buying a Culver's Burger. I spent almost $25 and to me the Burger to how much I paid for is something I can get more elsewhere especially from Culver's and even Culver's I don't like going there because I don't feel unsatisfied in regards to quality and quantity. Thus the three stars
