Ooof, Shake Shack has gone downhill from their startup days in NY. Ordered a Dubai shake, chicken burger, and soda. The Dubai shake was filled up about 3/4 of the way up the cup with melted ice cream (for $10), the chicken burger was tiny and flat ($9), and the soda was flat. I have no proof, but I'm convinced they're cutting corners and shrinkflating everything on top of already being more expensive than other similar fast food places. RIP the shake shack I loved in NY.
Jimmy is the shit, give that man a raise!!

Normally we love this chain, but this location isn't as good. Kiosks are a pain. Code needed for bathrooms.

This was a great place to get some good food and chill out before a concert at Wrigley. Staff were amazing and the food was good.

I have always loved Shake Shack and personally prefer their hamburgers to any other fast food option. However, on this particular day, I had mixed feelings. My partner and I ordered our usual meals, but our total ended up being twice as high as what we typically spend at other Shake Shack locations across the USA.
I can’t deny that the food is great and the staff is friendly. However, the pricing hit my wallet hard, similar to how the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street would chomp down on it. I assumed the higher prices were due to the location being close to Wrigley Field, unless I'm mistaken. 😕 Regardless of the cost, I still recommend this place.
Although I’ve lived in Atlanta, I never tried Shake shack so I decided to try it with my friend here in Chicago. It was close to the Wrigleyville market night and was not very busy inside. It was easy to order from the screen and the food took an average amount of time to come out. I got the mushroom burger and it was very tasty although a bit of a small burger. It hit the spot. I shared the spicy fries with a friend and they were a bit on the actual spicy side, but still good. The banana shake was awesome and just what I wanted. Staff were very busy with online and take out orders, but we’re still helpful when I asked for a dipping sauce. Plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere to eat your food with your friend.
Restaurantji Recommends
This is the quantity you receive of the new fried pickles compared to an order of fries - both the same price! Awful!
Good food, very busy but staff tries their best to keep up with the orders.
Location is cool, food is always great. But service super slow and non communicative
It’s good food, fast, but a cross between fast food and restaurant food. It’s counter service and the staff are awesome: patient and helpful!
The veggie burger is worth getting. It’s low key awesome.
I love shake shack but this location didn’t give me my fries :( so basically I was robbed of 7 dollars while trying to order a burger and fries unfortunately. My advice to other customers- make sure all of your food is there!!!!
