I wish the place had prices listed for all their drinks, we had 6 drinks and the bill was nearly 80 after tip. Server was good, quick, and on point. The mixed drinks were very well made, but dang, prices in the city have gone through the roof. Concert venue prices at your local bar. I wasn't a fan of their ID system, they scan your ID into some devices. What info they keep on record? What's their retention policy on data? What happened to checking with your eyes?

A great neighborhood style bar that has dartboards, karaoke on certain nights, pool table, and an enormous list of cocktails Bartenders and the entire staff are very friendly and do a great job. Parking is usually readily available somewhere on the street in front.

I like this place, I really do. This place is known for mixed drinks and I bet they are tasty! However, the bartender is rather ignorant. He's an older fella. Idk if he feels entitled to be rude to customers 🤷♂️ due to being older but he was abit rude to me at first but after a few visits and knowing I tip well He's polite to me. However, I've seen him be rather rude to other people. Not cool. He doesn't move fast and bartendending requires hustle, especially when busy. There's also an older female bartender who was kinda rude as well once she got busy. I used to bartend and i understand being overwhelmed but that's not an excuse to be ignorant. BUT, this place has FREE POPCORN!! And it's really good!!

Super chill bar with a mocktail menu with many drink choices! Normally bars only have NA beer and sodas but this place even has an NA espresso martini which I haven’t seen made very often! Very pleased with my experience here

This is a true Chicago — and neighborhood gem.
Every bartender takes care in their job — the the “old school” kind of place where they ask about your day — remember your drink (if not your name) — even if it’s been a few weeks since you’ve stopped by.
They do an amazing job creating an inviting environment— no matter your background (or singing ability).
They take pride in everything they serve — and at a fair price — never cheap — never expensive. Always a great beverage — at a fair price — from people who take great pride in bartending. (Chef’s kiss!)

Absolutely love the vibe at shakers! Mark is amazing behind the bar and the KJs always keep karaoke pumping! Plus the drink passports are a fun addition, it helped me discover I really like Pumpkin Long Islands ;)
