I made reservations five weeks ago for Saturday night of Easter weekend at Shanghai Terrace. Confirmed them as well. We arrived on time for our table at 7:30pm and were told that we were going to be seated in the Lobby dining room and not in the restaurant. When I said no, we had a reservation for the restaurant, we were told the next available table in the restaurant was 8:45 and were told to go to the Z Bar for a drink. The service was great but they stuck us in the main lobby of the hotel which is vast and was empty so the experience was not what I had expected. I brought a guest from out of town and they were disappointed that we had to sit in a huge empty room.
The restaurant is a little hard to find in the hotel but well worth the effort. We and friends had a wonderful meal. What great service!!! Get the crispy shrimp and any of the dim sum. Take your time and enjoy. You will definitely want to come back.
