Shark's Fish & Chicken Cicero & gladys

First I was hung up on. Then the same guy who took my order over the phone didn’t know if he made the order wrong so he cracked open my gyro puff and threw it in the container as if he didn’t just violate my meal. I asked for another and then they were burnt. All this after I called with no intentions of standing in this place to still wait 30 more minutes for nasty food. Keep up the great work!

Food dropped fresh to order , oil always clean very clean store very reasonable prices. Love that they are open late. Has delivery services thru uber and DoorDash.

Food was phenomenal! I recommend the chicken rice bowl! The owners were very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be returning.

Avoid This Place at All Costs!
I had a terrible experience at Shark’s Restaurant on Cicero. The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When I went to pay, the man at the register scanned my card, printed a receipt, then said, “Wait one moment,” and tried to scan my card again without explaining what was going on. When I asked for clarification, he started yelling at me like I was the one at fault.

To make matters worse, the cook came in from outside while on his cell phone and began handling food without washing his hands—not even once! I brought up my concerns about the situation, and instead of addressing them, the staff acted like I was in the wrong.

The lack of professionalism and hygiene here is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and find another place to eat. This is not the kind of service or cleanliness anyone should tolerate.

Service great , he forgot my hot peppers but its always good when I return to this establishment. I really like the fact that the operator is emersed in the community. Thats the Chicago thats missing other places. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal and authentic chicago experience.

Food wasn’t portioned right according to the prices they’re charging. I would never try them again. I’ll stick to Buffalo Sam’s for now on. Yesssss this really pissed me off
