We stumbled across a delicious ice cream spot. My daughter has been begging for ice cream all day. Shawn Michelle's was delicious. We had butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake and vanilla. My daughter is allergic to nuts and the young lady was nice enough to go in the back and wash off the ice cream scoop. The customer service was fantastic! 10/10The young ladies were nice, patient, and helpful with all of our questions. It's a cute ice cream shop with a few tables if you decide to stay and eat your goodies. And goodies are exactly what they have. We didn't taste or ask about the warm deserts like peach cobbler and others ONLY because we were infatuated with many different selections of hands churned creamy ice cream. Yall it's good ? 10/10I'm very basic but not today I selected the Lunchroom Butter cookie ? yep, it's a real thing. My friend had the Honey Cinnamon, while my other friend had the banana pudding ice cream. Just go and get you some. That's it, that's allParking: There's street parking. We went on a Sunday and there were parks. I'm sure as it gets warmer the parking will be tight but again it's worth it.Kid-friendliness: They offer parties/field trips to learn about ice cream

The ice cream is delicious and I love supporting a local business. However today I got a brownie sundae to go and when I got home I noticed the brownie had melted a hole through the flimsy plastic container it was in. Please change the way you prepare and pack your orders.

Was it worth an ambulance ride and spending three days hospitalized with norovirus because my already imminocompromised body was not made to withstand what I assume was a lack of handwashing that left me delerious with fever? Nope. Whatever their sanitation policies are, I hope they are open to suggestions.

I came from out of town to attend a conference and decided to try this place afterwards since I heard they had vegan options. I called ahead of going to the establishment to ensure that they did in fact have vegan options I was told that they had plenty available. You can only imagine my surprise when I went to order and the only thing they had available was vegan banana pudding ice cream, which in my opinion left so much to be desired because it was not good at all and overly sweet! Unfortunately my colleagues also didn't have the best experience as some of the options that they desired were "too hard for them to scoop" or they were just simply out and the ice cream they did eventually get they weren't the biggest fans of. The best thing about this place was the picture we got to take together. I personally won't be back whenever I'm in town nor would I recommend.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options but they're not good in my opinion

Pretty good ice cream. They have a really nice interior, and that really takes the cake! Err, ice cream. Decent stuff, not bad, nothing I'd travel too far from ever again. Village Creamery in Skokie, MilkHouse in Pingree grove are my tops in Illinois. Still looking for a not so distant 3rd, and this isn't it.
