Shibam Yemeni Kitchen Reviews
Food was good located in Alston but she charged 3 USD for 6 adult and 3 kids total 27 USD because we sit in one table. She did not mentioned before serve the food. We went many restaurants and we never seen this kind of charges. It’s look like cheating from customer. I want to talk to the owner , if any staff see this comment plz inform the owner. I already put complaint thru restaurant website. I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends circle.
Really good food I’ll recommend this place 😇👍

Shibam Yemeni Kitchen is a gem of a restaurant serving delicious Yemeni cuisine. The Mandi and lamb Khabsa are highly praised, with succulent and juicy meat that melts in your mouth. Customers have described the food as amazing, with some saying they were licking their fingers after eating. The rice is fluffy and flavorful, absorbing all the meat's flavors. The restaurant offers a courtesy starter soup and mix salad, and the service is very good, with a sweet and hospitable staff that ensures customers are comfortable. While parking can be a challenge, there is free side street parking after 6 pm and no street parking fee on Sundays. The atmosphere is pleasant, with no music, and it has been noted that wheelchair accessibility may require some assistance. Customers recommend the Mandi, which is the restaurant's specialty, and the Haneeth Lamb, known for its tender meat that falls off the bone. Many believe that this place represents authentic Yemeni home cooking and that it deserves more recognition. The restaurant is known for its exceptional quality, quantity, and taste, making it a hidden gem in the area.
