Should have learned my lesson, everything was disgusting and nothing tasted good. Also, very small portions not worth the money spent if it was tasty, which it wasn't. Never again, zero stars, would not recommend!!!

Stayed near here awhile back ago and ate here multiple times while in Chicago. Everything we got here was very good, and not a bad price at all, especially considering Chicago the prices can really vary. While here we had cheeseburgers, fries, macaroni and cheese, gyros, greens, chicken, and milkshakes. Definitely recommend this place, and for us, it’s worth coming out of the way to get.

Small shop with mighty food. Tried the catfish dinner, and it was wonderful. The Mac and the greens were to die for. Then I got a full slab of ribs. Y'all, meat fell off the bone, and I had plenty w two meals. I really think you can't go wrong.

Purchased a gyro from this place and it was BURNT. The meat and bread burnt. To add, the meat was salty and old. I called to rectify the situation and explained to the person that took my order, that the food was burnt and I was dissatisfied. I was asked, what did I want to do and I said a credit/food to be replaced at a later time because I don’t live close by. I was then told, the only way to receive a credit…I have to return food or have my receipt. REALLY!!!!! Since I don’t have receipt, or don’t want to travel 40 mins for a $10 sandwich…it’s nothing to be done. It’s restaurants like this, that gives a bad name for good restaurants. Any respectful establishment would have given a credit, under your name, for the next time you visited. Reminder: Check your food before leaving. I hope this review helps other customs and hopefully establishes better practices by this restaurant. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. My pic shows how disgusting my food looked.

I had to put 1 star in order to post this. The photos clearly show why I gave only 1 star. Very disappointed and dissatisfied as this restaurant was “highly” recommended to me. The potato looked old, dry and eaten out of. The fish looks like a joke but they sure piled my corn high… I could’ve saved my $23.

I was looking for a restaurant that made chitterlings and this was the only restaurant with them available. So on May 16th I ordered a Chitterlings Dinner for delivery which came with Spaghetti and Cornbread Dressing. None of the food tasted good to me and it was definitely not worth what I paid for it which was $37.93. I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant the food was nasty and the portion size was not worth the price. The photos are posted in their photo album.
