The food was really good, but the price was expensive for the amount of food that was received.
Food was excellent and ribeye was cooked to perfection. Excellent special occasion restaurant!
OUT OF THIS WORLD FILET & MAC & CHEESE ~ bartender was a doll - so, we decided to just eat at the bar
Ordered a steak rare. It came out tartare and cold. Asparagus even colder. No real flavor. Staff and service were amazing. Food was pretty meh. I ate less than half and hoped dessert would be redeeming. Crème Brûlée was alright. Best part of the meal was the coffee. Theres far better places to eat for less money.
The waitress nor anyone did not address us or come to our table for at least 10-15 minutes after being seated. Another waiter, who was not ours, looked at us and barely addressed after walking by numerous time. After I made eye contact he addressed us and asked if we needed drinks. This is being done after he quickly walked by us many times. I believe he finally got waitresses attention and she finally came over and reconfirmed our drink order. The sweet potatoe mash the steak came on was runny and not good. The waitress was inattentive at best. The Valentine's Day price of $125 was not worth it.
High end steak house located in the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk
Great service, intimate quiet atmosphete.
High priced, though it is high quality ingredients and preparation (7oz filet $64)
What I ate:
Shula's House Salad:
Mixed Greens, Tomato, Parmesan, Bacon, Carrots, Grated Egg, Herb Ranch
7oz Filet with blue cheese crust
Creme BruleVanilla Crème Brûlée: Vanilla Sugar, Chantilly Cream, Fresh Berries
My rating rationale

Food and service was outstanding. We had a large group on business and our waitress graciously split our check up. Probably the best NY Strip ever. It was crusted in Peppercorn and was very tender.
Traditional steak house. Not certain if I would classify Shula's as a fine dining restaurant based on ambiance and food presentation, although their prices qualify it a fine dining. Food and service were good, however.
The swordfish was amazing with incredible flavors. The 7oz filet was melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection. The half chicken was superb with the best roasted Brüssel sprouts and mashed potatoes. The chocolate gonach cake was big enough to share with all five of us. The angus beef burger was excellent. However the only thing that wasn't perfection was the wagyu steak it was over cooked.

Shula's never disappoints me. It was another wonderful experience. The service was exceptional. Our server, Milen, was attentive from the first moment we arrived. Bravo, Shula's Chicago!
The service and food here were fantastic. We went to some other high end restaurants on our trip but this was by far the best. The service was particularly good.

I love me some steak! We never tried Shula when we lived in Florida, so for our anniversary trip to Chicago we decided to dine there, being in the same hotel we stayed. I can tell you that it’s overpriced, to the point that I felt that I was going to get charged if I breathed too much. Nothing was excellent or original, starting with the bread service, and finishing with the Costco chocolate cake. My first and last for sure.

The steak was good, but the bisque was watery and had little flavor with no lobster meat in it as it was described in the menu. The Cesar salad was not authentic at all and tasted like bottled dressing. All the food presentations were little to none. It was not “high end” but had high end prices.
