Amazing family owned restaurant with consistently great food. Great customer service and always friendly!
Came in recently, looking for good Thai in the Lakeview/Buena Park area.
I got to the bottom of my cucumber salad, excited to try the entree, only to find a BUG, an INSECT, in my food. Disgusting.

I usually expect pad Thai to be too sweet or tangy or oily. This pad Thai was just right. It’s very rare I go to a place and enjoy the pad Thai this much.

the coconut ice cream with rice was SOOO yummers
I just moved around the corner from this place and the smells coming from there had me ordering asap. I got the Indian fried rice and dried beef and when I say my mind is blown it literally is from these flavors 🤯
I put in the notes to make the fried rice spicy and they delivered the exact spice I need. Usually places hold back, which makes sense because they don’t want returned food but it is powerful in a chefs kiss way. I feel take out often misses the mark but all boxes are checked. Not greasy, listened to my wants, smells has my dog drooling all over the place, and the service was fast and super friendly. Also a place that knows how to cook tofu?!
They have got a new fan here 😁

This is a nearly perfect experience. Thai is one of the very first truly ethnically original foods I’d eaten as a teenager in 80s Chicago. Thai Hut on Devon was the beginning. Grandma in the kitchen, her son taking the money at the cash register and surly teenage grandchildren as the wait staff. When Thai food was spicy by default. This is so close to that but with a broader and more sophisticated menu. The kind of Chicago style restaurant I love. Decor and zhoosh secondary (or tertiary) to the food. Get the coconut ice cream to finish your meal and feel the love. A neighborhood joint in all the right ways.
