Just a horrible experience trying to place a phone delivery order. It was a ridiculous, incoherent experience. Message to owners: get your act together when taking phone orders. If you can’t handle it, stopping being so greedy for customers and just focus on your in-restaurant customers. It’s a phone: learn how to use it and learn some telephone etiquette.

AVOID THE DUCK. I repeat, avoid the duck the food slowly fallen off honestly since I started going. the quality isn’t as good as it used to be. Some of the things that are served have obviously been sitting in the freezer and reheated. Specifically, the duck. the shrimp fried rice is OK. Siam thai is a very mediocre restaurant for way too expensive prices.

Disappointed with the service
We came in early and were seated before one other table, but somehow got our food last. It was frustrating to watch others who arrived later being served well before us. The food itself was fine, but the service really took away from it. Hope the restaurant can improve on fairness and attentiveness to all guests.

Let’s start off by saying I am not originally from Chicago. My boyfriend and I are visiting for the week and after helping a friend move last night, we were hungry and decided to go into this place. It was 9pm exactly and they didn’t close until 10 but when we walked in, they looked at each other in annoyance and asked “you dine in or carry out?” When we said dine in, they pushed a menu on us and told us to order right now. Luckily, we already knew what we wanted. Food was good but service was terrible. We will not return.

This is the real deal. Quickly seated and served on a Friday evening. The dinner special is great value, and the green curry delicious (protip: the breakfast/lunch/dinner distinction barely exists in Thailand, enjoy the inevitable leftovers for breakfast the next day)

Food was good little spicy but enough for me to handle and I don’t like spicy. I actually was going to check out the other thai place a min away but no one greeted me so I came here and got served right away. Such a good experience! Might be a little short staffed but wait was worth it!

Food is very fresh and delish. I ordered the lunch special with fried chicken rice, soup, and an egg roll. This meal was very feeling. The chicken egg roll didn’t seem pre-packaged either. You could tell that it had fresh ingredients inside. Would definitely come back.

I ordered one item from this place and he was irritated I just order one drink. I wanted a Thai Ice Tea after my lunch. I placed the order, stood there and waited 15 minutes. He was walking around cleaning, wiping, taking other people order etc. I finally asked him if my drink is coming? He sighed, and went and grabbed a cup, poured some pre-made tea in it and handed it to me. So I waited 15 minutes for nothing? I will never return here again because of the poor customer service.

Owner (?) told us to order online using a QR code for dining in, but was mad that we paid online??? He said that they can’t see what we order if we pay online but made no mention of that, so how would we know?? He then wrote down our order on paper. They forgot our drinks, and when I told him, he said something along the lines of “see…this is why you don’t pay online” as if it was our fault we couldn’t read his mind. Also, he had just written it down, so the problem should have been solved. After this he took another 5 minutes to bring one of the drinks and then another 10-15 for the second drink.

The only redeeming factor was the good flavor of the crab rangoons and thai tea, but DO NOT get the mango smoothie it’s like ice water with the slightest essence of mango.

I understand that working in food service is tough, but this place is just crazy disorganized and would benefit from investing in more workers.

Ordered food, never received it. Complete waste of time.
Placed my order and waited. When I asked about the delay, staff kept saying “we’re working on it” with no real timeline. Eventually had to leave without getting my food.
Basic service failure - if you can’t deliver what customers order, you shouldn’t be in business. Poor communication, no accountability.
Save your time and money. Go elsewhere.
