Let’s start off by saying I am not originally from Chicago. My boyfriend and I are visiting for the week and after helping a friend move last night, we were hungry and decided to go into this place. It was 9pm exactly and they didn’t close until 10 but when we walked in, they looked at each other in annoyance and asked “you dine in or carry out?” When we said dine in, they pushed a menu on us and told us to order right now. This is the real deal. Quickly seated and served on a Friday evening. The dinner special is great value, and the green curry delicious (protip: the breakfast/lunch/dinner distinction barely exists in Thailand, enjoy the inevitable leftovers for breakfast the next day)
Food was good little spicy but enough for me to handle and I don’t like spicy. I actually was going to check out the other thai place a min away but no one greeted me so I came here and got served right away. Such a good experience! Might be a little short staffed but wait was worth it!
