Exactly what you’d expect, and more. Amazing house-made gelato with unique flavors, and very quirky kids side shows! Very 80s retro vibe. Owner Jay is such a sweetheart. Adult shows are also really cool. Since 2 months ago, I’ve been coming here almost every weekend with my step kid. I’d just come here for good quality gelato but the entertainment is just cherry on top. Highly recommend. Definitely a great add-on to the neighborhood.Dietary restrictions: They have lots vegan options.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly. They have lots good flavors and kids shows.

We got one of the sideshow packages that includes gelato, access to the Saturday show, and cash to tip the performers. It was so fun! We got to be assistants for sideshow and magic tricks, had a great time, and the gelato was terrific. Highly recommended for a fun, low-cost, family-friendly evening.

Good ice cream, eclectic interior. Ice cream is the best dessert, and we arrived at 9:57 pm (three minutes before closing) and sideshow gelato was still packed full of people, always a good sign. The gelato matched expectations and was exactly what I wanted after a dinner and a concert.

Brought my kids here on a rainy day, and they had a blast. They got some tasty gelato, and the workers actually did a little mini-magic show for them right at the table. You can tell the workers are passionate about cultivating a sense of wonder and joy.What a special place to have in the neighborhood!Kid-friendliness: Recommended 4 and up.(My 2.5-year-old didn’t really get what was happening, but my 5yo was blown away.)

What a great spot! Great Gelato! Vegan options available Great space! Plenty of room to hang out and soak up the vibe. Occasional art shows, magic shows, all kinds of high level culture. Just going here makes you 25% cooler!
We brought a big group here for a Sunday kids' magic show. They had so much fun and were truly amazed - best comment from a parent sitting amongst the kids "they didn't know what to do with their faces."Out in the shop, Mr. J and staff were patient, kind, and helpful, unflustered by the chaos, and seemed to take real joy in little impromptu performances of various kinds. Tasting spoons for all and excellent fresh gelato.

The vegan gelato flavors of Pistachio and Chocolate I got were a bit bland tasting unfortunately. However, the consistency was great! Very creamy and thick like a gelato should be. I also found the interior to be a bit haphazard which is a shame because there were some cool items to check out on the walls!

I am so happy this place popped up on my radar. I went to an afterhours burlesque / vaudville performance that was worth every penny. The performers were great at their craft & the cappuccino gelato was epic going down. I highly recommend this place for something sweet if you're in the area.

They do weekly Sideshow events each Saturday with multiple viewings throughout the day. Very awesome & friendly staff/performers. Excellent homemade gelato made by the owner! Several flavors to choose from including limited time special event/performer flavors.Kid-friendliness: Earlier Sideshow is entirely kid-friendly and there are even Sideshow workshops available like magic and other tricks
