HORRIBLE!!!..The Chicken Fried rice was mushy.
The Orange Chicken was hard and overcooked and Pepper Beef was chopped into super small pieces and both could use more seasoning no flavor at all. Wow not only did the prices double. They also cut the size of the packs of soy sauce and sweet and sour sauce are small in size too. It's a far cry from the original Silk Road when it was located in the alley on 19 S. LaSalle St. used to have a line around the corner. Now you're going, there and see maybe be two or three people that says a lot when the line on LaSalle St. was out the door the food was tasting better too. It must be under new management!!!! 🤔🫣😥😫😠

Fast and Crazy

Not bad I feel little expensive( is it because it's in front of willis?) than other places where meat will be more and rice less.

Silk Road of Chicago is a solid lunch spot in the Loop. I spent around $13 on a small Spicy Chicken and a crab rangoon. The chicken had a nice kick, and the rangoon was crispy and flavorful. It's a no-frills, counter-serve place with quick service. Great for a fast, tasty meal during the workday. Just don't expect anything fancy.

Best spicy chicken around. The spicy shrimp is also worth the wait.

Silk Road of Chicago is legit! I swung by for a quick bite and got the Dan Dan noodles and Kung Pao chicken, and man, I wasn’t disappointed. The noodles were spicy with just the right amount of kick, and the Kung Pao had that perfect mix of savory, sweet, and a little crunch from the peanuts. Spent about $25, which is a steal for the amount of food you get. The spot’s pretty basic, but the open kitchen vibe makes it feel cool. The service is chill and efficient—no frills, just good food. If you're craving authentic Chinese in the Loop, this place is a solid choice.

Staff were nice and accommodating, but the restaurant feels a little weird being combined with the sushi place. Had the chicken fried rice and it really was not great.

Who ever made the rice today shouldn’t be allowed to make it anymore. Very mushy. Beef and broccoli by itself was okay, a little sweet. Egg drop soup is also not suppose to have all that extra stuff. Egg rolls were 10/10
It’s pretty in there tho, good music and great service.

Worst food I have had in years. Orange Chicken had very little, if any, whole meat chicken morsels. Every bite felt like it was skin rolled up and cooked. When cut open, no meat.
Service? What service! None.
Save your money.
