Silk Road of Chicago is a solid lunch spot in the Loop. I spent around $13 on a small Spicy Chicken and a crab rangoon. The chicken had a nice kick, and the rangoon was crispy and flavorful. It's a no-frills, counter-serve place with quick service. Great for a fast, tasty meal during the workday. Just don't expect anything fancy.
Silk Road of Chicago is legit! I swung by for a quick bite and got the Dan Dan noodles and Kung Pao chicken, and man, I wasn’t disappointed. The noodles were spicy with just the right amount of kick, and the Kung Pao had that perfect mix of savory, sweet, and a little crunch from the peanuts. Spent about $25, which is a steal for the amount of food you get. The spot’s pretty basic, but the open kitchen vibe makes it feel cool. The service is chill and efficient—no frills,...
Who ever made the rice today shouldn’t be allowed to make it anymore. Very mushy. Beef and broccoli by itself was okay, a little sweet. Egg drop soup is also not suppose to have all that extra stuff. Egg rolls were 10/10
It’s pretty in there tho, good music and great service.
