A very intimate spot. Your group can sit among strangers and it's nice how it feels like a family style brunch. We had birthdays and they did a song in different languages and then served cake.

Sinhá will always have a special place for me. Dona Jorgina is the sweetest and most hardworking woman. She is such an inspiration. I have been eating at Sinha for a decade now. I always bring friends and recommend this place. You have amazing home cook Brazilian food and the whole experience at Sinhá is always very wholesome. I have done private events and Dona Jorgina really just executes with perfection! Recommend 100%

Satisfactory Lunch, But Overpriced.
I recently visited for a weekday lunch, and while the experience had its highlights, the value for money was disappointing.
The atmosphere was lovely, featuring pleasant Brazilian music playing softly—perfect for conversation. The staff was also very nice. We sat at a communal table, which was a nice, social touch.
However, the price was a major issue. I had seen the lunch menu priced between $14-$30 online, but the actual cost was closer to $50 per person. The food was satisfactory (although the dessert portion was extremely small). And to top it off, a $15 service fee (???) was added to the bill. Overall, while the ambiance and service were great, the high price point makes it overpriced for a weekday lunch.

Sinha is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Georgina is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing Latin food. Must come back. 10/10.

Authentic Brazilian cuisine. The setting of a home turned into an intimate dining experience. The host is like having dinner cooked by and with your favorite abuelita.

Restaurantji Recommends
Incredibly cozy and authentic atmosphere. The food is just as authentic and is fresh and like it is from your moms kitchen. My wife is from Brazil and we came for the first time to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. She was impressed with every aspect of our experience and we cannot wait to come back with family, friends, and just the two of us. Highly recommend Sinha to anyone

the place was great because the ambience, decoration, something familiar and intimate, but the food. it was great, but this time Sunday, May 18, it was a great surprise for me, we were asigned to seats, interacting with other people, a little crowded but not bad, specifically because my companionship, but after the first round, vegetables, beans Brazilian style etc ( good food) in second time the MEATS WERE HORRIBLE, very hard to chew, old, not a good meat, very sorry for Sinha.

This place was absolutely AMAZING! I felt like I was at my grandma's house eating a special Christmas/Sunday dinner. So many options of high-quality food, but the best part was the owner and her team. Truly hospitable and welcoming. I will be back, I will be highly recommending, and I will be sharing this experience as a gift for loved ones on their special day. Also, it was a very affordable experience for everything we were provided. Thank you for this blessing!!!

My mother is from Bahia which is in northern Brazil. This place captured all the flavors of home for me. They had food that was specific to the region where my family lived plus all the traditional Brazilian staples you’d come to expect. Delicious, authentic and unlike any other place in Chicago. Never change Sinha
