Disappointed. I ordered the half chicken as i often have. This time I received a pile of shredded chicken on top of the usual rice. Don't understand why it was cut off the bone and chopped into small irregular bits. Flavor okay but very dry. Salad, hummus, rice and fries were of their usual quality. Completely baffled as to why this was sent since half a chicken is pretty straightforward.

(mostly) DELICIOUS food. Chicken wrap was great. So were the falafel and lentil soup. The spinach pie was just OK. The beef shawarma wrap was also good BUT we ordered the impossible version. We're not die hard vegetarians so we ate it anyway. They also forgot our garlic sauce, which is a small nitpick. But, that's 2 mistakes with the service. The food was absolutely great though, and tasted very fresh.

We love the fresh salads and food. Only wish more options for seasoning of chicken skewers but great people and always fresh, delicious food!

If I could give Sinya 10 stars, I would! The food is absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The prices are very reasonable, and the customer service is truly outstanding. I recently ordered catering from them, and Abe’s service was stellar from start to finish. Whether you're grabbing a casual lunch or planning a special celebration, Sinya is a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

Chicago lacks many options for good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food. However, I think that Sinya in River North is trying to change all of that. It’s located in part of the old Three Greens Market location at the corner of Hubbard and Kingsbury. First, the food was delicious. I ordered the gyro entree, beef shawarma, kunafa, mint mojito and a charcoal latte. Each of the entrees came with a side salad and hummus. I also got some pita bread. The gyro was tender and delicious. I also liked the beef shawarma. Both are must orders. Both of the entrees are huge and more than a meal each. Second, the service was great. The process is that you order at the counter, you take a seat and they bring the food to you. The staff is friendly and my food came out fast and hot, especially the kunafa as it was the perfect temperature for a nice cheese pool. Third, the ambiance is amazing and the decor is beautiful. The entire restaurant is bright and colorful. The colors worked perfectly to make me feel like I was in actually in the Mediterranean. In sum, this is must visit Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean restaurant.

Sinya is my new go-to lunch spot in River North! I am always on the hunt for good Mediterranean food in the city and needless to say, everything was perfect. We ordered the Veggie Combo platter to try a bit of everything as well as the mixed shawarma plate and everything was fresh, tasty, and served alongside warm Pita! My husband got a Baklava Latte while we were there and he talked about it for days! The atmosphere and service were impeccable as well which made the whole experience amazing!

Walking in to the restaurant it's a bright airy inviting space that makes you feel instantly at home. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. We went for a late lunch but this would be a lovely spot to grab a coffee with a friend or work for a few hours. The staff was friendly and helpful and there are many vegan/vegetarian options. I had spinach pie and the veggie combo plate. Some of the best baba ghanoush I've had in the city and my husband very much enjoyed the spinach pie

Vegetarian options: Veggie Combo Plate, Kebabs with Impossible, Spreads, Desserts, Spinach Pie, Grape Leafs so many options

I was looking for some Mediterranean/Greek food that was good and reasonably priced. Picked Sinya based on reviews. I got the gyro platter. The serving of everything was very generous and the food arrived quickly and hot. The hummus was delicious and all the food was good. My only little gripe was that the gyro meat could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still tasty. A good value for your money. I would definitely come back if I am in Chicago in the future.
