Convenient location, poor quality pastries, outrageous prices. Matcha was over $10 after tax and tip. I think that was the first time in my life I had paid over $10 for a cafe drink. Also, bathroom code on receipt with a locked bathroom is very chintzy.
It would be nice if you had a restaurant in the BEVERLY neighborhood Chicago Illinois! đ„°

Everything about this place is bad. Sterile, corporate, soulless. Food is stale and flavorless, coffee is over-roasted, number code on the bathroom PLUS the light turns itself off after only a few seconds, making it clear that they don't want you here. No wifi, no local posters for theatre or a job board or anything that originated from a human being. They just want your money, and don't offer any positive experience in exchange. Worst coffee shop in the neighborhood. Definitely skip.
EDIT: Apparently there is wifi, if you get a receipt. Except I wasn't offered a receipt. Nice little trick there. Does that make you feel good? Getting one over on the customers?

It feels remarkably like the old Starbucks that occupied this location.

had contact with whitney and she was patient and considerate and offered me a gift card for past my troubles. Very appreciative of them trying to make things right and caring about my experience.
travelled all the way up to this location and even called ahead of time to see if they had a specific menu item in stock but they failed to tell us on the phone they had adjusted hours that werent reflected onlineâŠâŠ.. would give them 0/0 for wasting our time and money it cost to get up here..

5 Stars. I am not sure what people expect from a neighborhood coffeeshop but it was everything I needed. Coffee is great. Customer service very friendly. I was able to use the bathroom without issue. Coffee is the same price as other places. I am not sure what some of you expect in 2025. I came in for coffee not for a massage and for people to treat me like I'm the owner. Get your coffee, chill for a minute, then move along, that's it. I think some of these negative reviews are sus. Some of these one-star reviewers are perfectly fine in the hole-in-the-wall coffee places (in Uptown, Edgewater, Wicker Park, etc) with dirty tables, cracks in walls, trash/debris on the floors and walls, dank and dark (I won't name names) but would give one star to a clean highly functional place like this place, (smdh).

Their bathroom has a motion sensor activator that is insensitive so you'll be in the dark a few times trying to reactivate the lights. Also, their ceiling has a like bad leak and the floor is covered in water and it's a slip and fall just waiting to happen, but it remains open.
Coffee prices were a little high, but that wasnât the biggest issue. I asked for the bathroom code and they wouldnât give it to me because âitâs on your receipt.â I didnât ask the receipt after purchase and they still wouldnât give the bathroom code. Would not recommend to others.

Stopped in (admittedly) 2 literal minutes before they closed and she had already turned the espresso machine off. Very annoying if you were still open for 2 minutes. You know, in case someone comes in 2 minutes before youâre actually closed.

I enjoyed a blueberry hibiscus tea. The vibe here is great! I would recommend it to anyone who drinks coffee/tea.
I like the art and coffee of the day special.

Love this little neighborhood coffee shop!
Kind of a silly complaint but Iâve consistently noticed that the lids on their to-go cups are oddly flimsy and donât stay on very well. I know I should bring my travel mug but sometimes I forget and I donât like spilling hot coffee on myself! I have noticed this with other to-go cups so hopefully they change their vendor. Otherwise two thumbs up! đđ

I've been in town for a several weeks for a visit and have been to Sip and Savor multiple times. I have tried iced teas, hot coffee drinks and blended coffee drinks and all have been fantastic! It's a cute shop, very clean, great atmosphere and friendly service. Plenty of space to work, study or hang out with friends. I highly recommend it! Thanks for a great experience every visit.
