Incredible food!

First and last time going here. ordered pasta salad with chicken.No Chicken , Also Ordered Alfredo, With chicken and shrimp.All we got was pasta.No protein terrible.One piece of bread that was stale terrible

Friendly and informative staff. It is a single table inside if you want to eat real quick. Food came out within 15 mins. They offer salad instead of fries. I enjoyed the jambalaya, it comes with a yellow rice. My husband enjoyed the chopped cheese. Will be back to try other items. Good vibes here and clean.

I ordered the jerk shrimp fettuccine Alfredo w/broccoli. I asked him what else is in it. He told me spinach, tomatoes, and lettuce. Never seen lettuce in a pasta, so I said please don’t add lettuce. He told me 15mins, I said cool. That’s about right for that time for pasta and the ingredients. My stuff was ready in 5, which was a shock and when I got home and opened the container, it made sense. No spinach, no tomato, mushy pasta, and a loose Alfredo w/a tiny piece of garlic bread. It’s edible for the neighborhood, but this isn’t chef worthy. I wanted to give this place a chance without looking at the reviews, and I’m mad I had to make this review. This dish lacks training. I’m saying this because I’ve been in this for 30+ years and was hoping that there was a gem in the neighborhood. So either the person who took my order was not trained well, or the cook just was lazy in the process and wanted to go home. You can cook 40 great dishes in a shift, but all it takes is one dish to mess with an establishment. Each plate you put out has your name on it. And the shrimp were overcooked. I would still give this place another chance and try something else. However this is truly for the neighborhood which I don’t feel is as educated on what the chef was trying to pull off.

The food was great. The had no ac so the guy cashier had a pissy attitude. He put two people in front of me cuz they were on house like i give a dam i was on my lunch break. Then lied in said they called in. Knowing they dont make your food untill u pay .the only thing keeps me coming is the spinich grill chicken wrap. They are never open. Good food. Poor service. They woman cashier is a sweet heart but the guy with braids or locs with the big lip?? Put him on the grill on garbage duty. He need to get his cdl cuz this aint it.

Hated it! My steak bowl was more steaks than potatoes
My salmon Alfredo had no Alfredo sauce but water from the vegetables.

My wife bought me the chicken and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and she got the chicken wrap her chicken wrap was dry and the Alfredo didn't have any not one shrimp also was chicken was dry and hard and the noodles wasn't seasoned I come here all the time and never had this problem I was so upset because this was my food for work I work at foremost liquor down the street on 93rd and couldn't believe what I have received I will be there tomorrow to let them know about both meals I have received . I know they was catering a party that day but I never had food like this in my life from them. I just hope they step there game up because it was my favorite spot to eat at

I recently attempted to go and try there research chicken wrap sandwich. I went on on Saturday when it was really hot. When I got in, the humidity had settled on the floor and you could see it, there were no watch your step signs out, no fans. I didn't get the sandwich because they were closing early and was told they didn't have anything to make it with. I was given a shrimp pasta dinner they had left over, I WASNT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I WILL NOT be listening to certain foodie creators on tik tok ANYMORE

Sizzling Skillet has some amazing food, with an even better atmosphere. Every thing, I have every ordered has been, not only full filing, healthy and a party for my food palettes, if you are in the Chatham area and 87th and Cottage grove, you have to stop by and try a wrap, salad or an entree.
