Great to have a Small Cheval in the neighborhood. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Food is made to order and put together with care. It'll be nice when their liquor license is finally approved so they can serve their boozy shakes. Regular shakes are available and delicious.
While I was excited to see this chain open a location near me I think some of the magic is lost. The food was fine but this is a tough area for burgers, places like Budacki's, Quick Bites, Lucy's, Slim's, The Bad Apple, and my personal favorite burger Byron's all have great food and lower prices. Currently I don't think there is a reason for me to go back to Small Cheval.

The food and atmosphere is exceptional. No matter what you order you can't go wrong. Highly recommend trying the shakes. I especially enjoyed the boozy combo with chocolate and Baileys.
