The Smoothie Joint is hands down the best juice bar in the city. I stopped in after a tough leg day at the gym and their Green Line smoothie with added ginger and turmeric hit every mark for recovery. It was smooth, refreshing, packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients, and super easy on the stomach and braces.
What really sets them apart is the people. They were genuinely friendly and welcoming and even gave me an extra smoothie to gift to a friend just because. That kind of generosity and vibe is rare and makes you want to come back often.
Highly recommend the Green Line with ginger and turmeric if you’re recovering from a workout, feeling sore, or just want something clean and energizing. Their ingredients are fresh, the blends are smooth, and it’s clear they care about both health and community.
Also shoutout to their Berwyn location. Same great quality and service. Whether you’re near Wrigleyville or out in the suburbs, The Smoothie Joint is worth the stop.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good smoothie in the lakeview area for some time now, and checked out Smoothie Joint today with my husband. It was absolutely delicious. Ms. T, the owner, was so kind and answered all of our questions. My husband had the yellow line smoothie and I tried the pink line. Super fresh fruit and great prices. We will be back!!!

I discovered this Smoothie Joint up north, literally that’s the name lol I finally found a place that uses real fresh fruit! I bought a green line smoothie and a blue line juice. I smashed the smoothie so fast I didn’t think to take a picture but I still have the juice!
