This is a small space in an older building with no tables. One guy was there by himself serving up orders as quick and efficient as some places with an entire staff.I ordered the Snappy Dog. Fries were piled on top. Ugh, I hate that. I realize it's an old Chicago tradition but it's not my thing. I have to admit it does give the fries some extra flavor in this case.It was on a fresh poppy seed bun with sport peppers, cheese sauce, onions, and their secret sauce (which tasted a lot like barbecue sauce). It was tasty with a bit of zip but very messy.I wouldn't mind trying some of their other unique menu items sometime.

OK, this is a little hotdog joint in Edison Park. Looks like it's been there for 100 years but it's only been 14. They serve Vienna hotdogs which you can't go wrong there. This is take out only although they have one chair. So when you can get a Vienna hotdog and fries for $5 n change it's a winner .

The owner is super nice! The hot dog was great but I HIGHLY recommend the Snappy Stix! Fast service excellent take it and go restaurant.

My food was cold. My hotdog wasn't cooked. Cold fries and cold egg rolls mozzarella sticks. Got my food stupid fast. Nobody was in there with me.

Wow, I'm surprised I'm still walking... this place fucking SUCKS, my snappy stix tastes like a gorillas anus... and the chili cheese dog looked like Lizzo After a night out. I will never come back and if I do I'm gonna have to be really drunk. FUCK SNAPPY DOG. Nah I'm just playin this place is dummy lit... I would hose my shortys clam in the back

Me sitting in Tulsa thinking about Snappy Dog... I kinda want to go to Chicago just for Snappy Dog.
First time at Snappy Dog and I love it. I love a good hot dog and I wasn't disappointed nor was I disappointed with their fries. Very friendly service and quick and the prices were pleasantly low for the amount I bought. I will be definitely going back.

Poor customer service. I went in because I thought it was local and I'd try it out. The guy at the front didn't speak to me at all. He made the wrong milkshake and when I proceeded to let him know, he kept correcting me and then snatched the drink out of my hand and literally threw it in the garbage. I don't know if this place is racist or the worker was. But I felt completely out of place and wouldn't recommend anyone to return!
